Solid key fob replacement but found the spring in it a little weak. Used the spring out of the original key fob and jobs a good’n! Flicks open within the blink of the eye!!

It's very good, an accurate copy of the Ford one. To make this work as a replacement for a damaged key, you need to open up your old key and transfer in the blade, the transponder (top section) and the unlock chip and battery (bottom section). The new key was a delight to put together, the biggest challenge for me was getting transponder out of the old key.

The empty key casing arrived fine. Looked the same but the key part would not work without a fair bit of filing to make it flip out. Got it to work eventually and it's fine. A lot better than the original which was badly smashed and sellotaped up. Thank you. We have one nice key again!

It is easy to transfer the key bar, battery and circuit board into this new key and to open up the compartment to see where the transponder chip needs to go. But when I tried to remove the chip from my Ford original everything was so tightly glued together I needed a hacksaw just to see the chip (circled in red on the pic). I could still start the car by holding this wrecked piece next to the new chipless key but by the time I finally managed to cut the chip out it must have been damaged and didn't work. It is a shame the two parts of the old and new key almost fitted together but wouldn't quite lock into place, if they had done that I wouldn't have tried to move the transponder at all.

Bought this and it arrived the next day thanks to Prime. I transferred the circuit board from the old key and it clipped straight into this one. I also transferred the small 'transponder' chip located near the front of the old key (which is easy to miss) and it fitted perfectly into this key. Finally I went to Timpsons to get the blade cut for which they charged me £10. Key works a treat, fully functional buttons and starts the car with no issue. Highly recommend this key. All in all, I've paid £17 for a brand new key which has saved me well over a £100 buying it from Ford. Another point, my one did come with a Ford sticker too. So I’ve replaced all the electronics, the ignition key and the transponder and this is the result I’ve been left with, because I’ve taken the transponder out of my old key fob, when I try and put it back in the old key fob that too doesn’t work, so now I’m left with 3 key fobs, 2 of which do not work. The educational video on the product page leaves the transponder out of the key which could leaves you scrolling through the Q and A section of the product page to find out your missing a tiny piece of metal coated in plastic that is significant into wether this new fob works or not. But you can’t remove this cuz if you do neither of the fobs actually work. Stuck now with having to go to Ford to get a replacement key.

Broke my original one of these key ring end. Got this as a replacement changed the main body and it works great.

Part of original fob broke used part of this to replace. Cheaper than original part.

Très bien et très bon marché comparé au coût d'une nouvelle clé constructeur. Surtout ne pas oublier de conserver/récupérer/transférer le petit morceau de métal qui détient le code de démarrage dès qu'il est près du neiman. Sinon ça démarre pas. C'était pas mentionné.

Der Metallschlüssel passt nicht genau rein, dadurch funktioniert das Ausklappen nicht. Beim Versuch aus dem Originalschlüssel und diesem hier, einen ganzen zu machen, konnte man auch sehen, dass die Teile unterschiedlich sind. Immerhin konnte ich den kleinen silbernen Knopf zum Ausklappen benutzen
