Any combination of numbers may be shut against those numbers shown on the dice, but once used may not be used again. E.g dice throwing 6+3=9. Boxes closed may be 1+8, 7+2, 5+4 or just 1 box 9 etc. When as many boxes as possible are shut, the numbers remaining are read off from left to right eg 1,4,6 remains equals 146. The next player then tries to score under 146. Another way is to total the numbers remaining 1,4,6 =11. The next player then tries to score under 🙃11. (A) a throw shutting all boxes automatically wins (B) when the last box to be closed is a 1 on it’s own, a single dice is used. **Q: Isn’t here a quicker Delivery date?** A: Yes **Q: How many dice are in the box** A: There are two dice which is what you need to play the game which is great fun ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Box Game *by P***D on 24 July 2026* Good quality. Great game for 5years up over. Younger children could play but would need support to calculate numbers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent game for all the family *by V***R on 9 January 2026* This game has provided endless fun for children and adults alike. It’s great value for money. I highly recommend it. It also helped the youngsters learn their numbers and additions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Family friendly *by L***Y on 25 January 2022* We played the longer version of this (1-12) when visiting family. We all loved it. Even my dad who has issues with concentration at the moment due to health managed to play and even beat us with glee. Good for kids too as you have to count. Two dice, the objective is to get all your numbers down so if you roll an 8 you can put down the number 8 or 4 3 and 1. You want to get all your numbers down. The 1-12 game has a difference set up, this one the numbers left upright you add the numbers, that is your score then reset the board and move it to the next person. You need pen and paper as not provided, the first person to get their numbers down wins. This is a few pounds cheaper than the other versions and very user friendly. We all love it. Recommend this version or the 1-12. Fast delivery. Would be 5/5 but my dice was a bit chipped but otherwise perfect, plus wooden dice, never seen them before it has always been plastic! ## Frequently Bought Together - Toyrific Shut The Box Game for 2 Players, Wooden Table Dice Classic Kids Family Travel Game - Mattel Games Blokus XL Strategy Board Game, Family Game for Kids & Adults with Colorful Oversized Pieces & Just One Rule (Amazon Exclusive) - Hasbro Gaming Monopoly Deal Card Game, Quick-Playing Card Game for 2-5 Players, Game for Families and Kids, Ages 8 and Up (Amazon Exclusive) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/48677233-shut-the-box-game-for-2-players-wooden-table-dice](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/48677233-shut-the-box-game-for-2-players-wooden-table-dice) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
