This amazing, simple tool is one of the few things I cannot go without in my kitchen. It is by far the best way I, my mother, and my grandmother before her, have found to cut butter into flour when making all kinds of pastries. I have used the same one since I was married, 24-years ago, and my mom still has the same one she has had since I was little. I recently bought another here for my daughter, as she is getting married soon. The cut is sharp and the handle sturdy. In addition to using for pastries, this “circle cutter,” also makes round sandwiches for kid’s lunches, and is perfect for chopping everything from hard boiled eggs to nuts, chocolate, berries for jam, and pretty much anything else that needs a quick chop in the kitchen. Yes, I have a food processor, but this tool is used far more often. It is quick, simple, works great, and easy to clean.

This is my favorite biscuit cutter! I also love that it’s made in the USA. My biscuits come out tall and fluffy!

Exactly what I was looking for. I got one of those rubber choppers for ground beef. Its never cops like I wanted. I have one of these that's serated and it's kind of worked. But this one is perfect. Chops anything I need chopped and js easy to clean. Simple is often better.

***** QUALITY This chopper should last for years if used as intended. I purchased the plain edge chopper. I already have a serrated version of this this chopper that is over 40 years old and it is still being used. The handle of both are attached to the chopping ring with rivets. See photo. ***** RELIABLE BUSCUIT CUTTER I checked a bunch of biscuit cutters with a handle on Amazon. The handle is spot welded to the ring on most biscuit cutters I checked and many reviewers complained of the handle detaching under normal use and/or during shipping due to a weak spot weld. If enough people have the same complaint then it is most likely the case. This Kwik-Kut plain edge chopper has the handle attached to the ring with rivets so it will not detach. The ring is 2-7/8 inches. If this is not a suitable size for your biscuits then you may need to use something else. And... if used as a chopper the plain edge will also be reliable. ***** HANDLE IS NOW ALUMINUM Thanks to another reviewer I was made aware the handle now is made of aluminum. The chopping ring is still stainless steel. I confirmed this on Kwik-Kut's website. The handle has a good polished finish so I would have assumed it is stainless steel. The older choppers have a stainless steel handle such as my 40+ year old serrated version which has seen a “zillion” dish washer cycles. See photos. The aluminum handle is not a show stopper for me. JUST BE AWARE TO AVOID DISCOLORATION, ETC. THIS CHOPPER SHOULD NOT BE RUN IN THE DISHWASHER. The product description on the Amazon page says to hand wash. The product description on Amazon and the retail package does not mention the aluminum handle. The retail package does not say to hand wash. See photo. For more info just google washing aluminum kitchen stuff in the dishwasher. ***** DINGING ONE STAR I respect Kwik-Cut as being a long time small American manufacturer, but they will loose star due to the handle. They should emphasize to the consumer to avoid the dishwasher. Some reviewers found out too late. Would I purchase again if necessary? Yes I would.

Very sharp, hope it stays that way.

I had one of these for years. It was a gift from my sister who has now passed. One day i went to get it and it was simply GONE. I have looked everywhere for one to replace it. So thrilled to finally find this item. I have not used this one yet but it is a gadget I can't stand being without!

I thought this product would be stronger but its a cheap piece of metal-- hardly worth the money spent. Very disappointed. Save your money. Unfortunately I am unable to return it otherwise I would.
