How many ounces of dried food does it scoop please?

I only use my scoops on garden compost, vermiculite, sand & grit for formulating potting mixes. Simple, approximate volume ratios by eye.

Why if minimum order is 4 you say they are 2.99 each??

This scoop measures 11.5 inches from tip to tip and 4 inches depth measured from top back of the scoop to the bottom. A good size.

Can this scoop safely be used with food?

I do not know, but I have seen the same product (in green and other colours) used for animal feed. Being plastic it should OK to clean in hot soapy water. I use mine for potting plants, compost, fertilizer etc. I also have a scoop made from aluminium, which was much more expensive which I use for gravel.
