I couldn't turn my gas hob on .try pliers everything. Then sore this ,bought it pur small amount on ,only left it for five minutes, could,not believe it worked so quickly. Best buy.

Hard to review a tube of silicone grease. What I can say is it did the job, delivery was a little slow and I had almost given up ever getting it. But It was to Spain and sometimes this does seem to happen, in fairness to the supplier it was posted airmail and you cannot blame them for the vagaries of the postal service. It may even be a customs thing because some things arrive real quick and others real slow. Beware though unless you want quite a stiff product this might not suit your needs, I used it to stop my wife's convertible roof creaking on the rubbers, it does the job and more importantly stays well even in the heat.

Great product, but expensive

I bought this as I had read online that it helps protect LNB connections from oxidising and prevents dampness getting into the LNB to prolong life, while also assisting with fitting the F Connector to the cable. As I was fitting a new Quad LNB which didn't have an F-Connector cover and I'd been having all sorts of problems with my reception which I figured was the LNB I decided I would use this as well to do a proper job. Also I'd had to put new cables in, and whereas the old ones where copper shielded the new ones were not copper shielded (cheaper, steel I'm guessing). Guidance online said a small amount should be smeared on the central copper conductor as well as in the obvious places for waterproofing. I was concerned putting an insulator onto the main conductor would hamper the connection. However this in combination with the new LNB resulted 100% signal strength and a 95% quality connection with no realignment. Probably in the main down to the new LNB but I am reasonably confident I've got a good connection, time will tell.

This is a useful and tenacious grease that can can be used to prevent corrosion and siezing of threaded components. Note that this grease is no longer labelled as Servisol but it is made by the same company CRC.

I have used Servisol product throughout my 47 year career in electronics and ma so happy that they are still supplying top quality service aids at a reasonable price. I have installed many CCTV cameras and Sky LNB's and have always used this grease without any issues. Best in the market in my option.

I've had a leaky bath/shower crossover valve for years. Managed to free it, renew the o rings and pack with silicone grease. Lovely - job done.
