Car Internal and External Temperature Display, Fahrenheit Temperature, Dual Temperature Sensors Use for Toyota (Type A)

This temperature display is hands down a must have. I installed it in my 1997 Dodge 3500 Cummins and now I don’t know how I went without it. Being able to see outside temps while climbing mountain passes or when the weather starts changing is incredibly useful, especially where conditions can shift fast. Install was quick and simple, and the price is almost laughably cheap, the kind of price that makes you think it’ll be junk. It’s not. It works reliably and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. For the cost, the value is ridiculous. Easily one of the best bang for the buck upgrades I’ve added to my truck.

Love this product as it adds an air temp gauge that has a factory look to it. The only downside is that the top outside temp is in blue numbers and is hard to read with any glare at all during daylight hours. Also I have noticed that the blue numbers seem to get blocked out with my polarized sunglasses; so I have to take them off and find a non glare angle to read the outside temp during the daytime. I don't like it, and its inconvenient when driving, but its still better than having no outside temp gauge at all. Install is a pain in the rear, but that's true with any gauge going into the dash.

Bought this for my long rides on my Harley. I like to know outside temps for hydration. Harley has nothing. Installation is easy for me because I'm an electrician and skilled to do this kind of work.

I’ve had one of these for over a year installed in my Jeep TJ. The temperature readings are fine for a car thermometer but I have found two major flaws that are making me look for an alternative. #1: while the red display works fine, the blue display makes it impossible to see unless your within 3 feet of it especially in bright conditions. Blue is probably the worst color they could have chosen for this application! Why not make them both red and label them clearly! #2: they used a frosted lens on the readout which blurs the numbers making the blue (mentioned above) completely illegible unless your very close to it. I’m currently looking for a replacement and will be removing it from my Jeep soon!

I was deeply and sadly disappointed. I bought these for my girlfriend's birthday. I bought two because I thought it would be nice to have in our van as well. The display is not bright enough to show up on a standard overcast day in the Pacific North West. I bought them for a birthday that I had to wait for to install; and now I cant return these almost useless hunks of junk. save yourself the hassle and get something else. Don't by from the "Shenzhen Timloon Technology Co., Ltd" company.

It does work and the probes read the same so there is some level of precision at least. These are set up more like scientific probes than car sensors since the probes display whatever they read at that moment, where a car temp sensor usually has programming that is displaying averages over time. So if you stop at a stop light and the exterior probe starts getting heat from the engine, it shouldn’t immediately report that increase but these do. The exterior one for me is usually 4F above actual ambient. The interior one I have poking out by my knee and it takes a long time to see an increase but then keeps rising well after I’ve turned the heat down. 60-80F on the display feels about the same in the cabin. Seems like more of a placement issue but it’s not very helpful. The overlay on the display is a little crooked and makes the numbers fuzzy. I have a charger/voltmeter that’s the same style and the display is much brighter and clearer. Overall, it works but it’s not very useful and the fit and finish is okay at best.

I ordered the wrong part but it looks very quality! Will be returning and ordering the right one.
