Convenient, accurate as tested against API master liquid test kit and results are fast. Helps keep your fish healthy by monitoring and quickly checking ammonia levels. Although they are expensive and I would recommend a liquid test kit over these but good to have if in a rush and you don’t have time to get your master test kit out.

Bought these as well as the ammonia test kit. Didn't know which one I'd like best .both are good and very accurate.

Good value for money, highly recommended.

I chose this product because I was looking for something cheap to give me water quality readings. It had 5 tests in one strip, and being a beginner at fish-keeping, I thought this product was a good start. The strips are in a sealed tube, so no moisture (if any) can get in, and the instructions are simple and clear enough. There is some additional leaflet information that comes with the box. Initially, the readings seemed ok. However, after 6 months of water testing, my fish were dying slowly one by one. The test strip showed all test results looked ok, but I bought another test kit that uses droplets to test the water after a recommendation from a more experienced fish-keeper. The result was that whilst the pH test on the strip told me it was at a steady 7, the water droplet test kit showed the pH was too high at 8.5. I don't know if this is the cause of my dying fish, but I strongly suspect so. Ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and hardness levels were all good, but after getting the water droplets test kit, I don't trust this product's results. Overall, I would use this test kit if I had nothing else to hand. I think this is also a good start for absolute beginners, but I would definitely recommend splashing out a bit on more sofisticated test kits.
