I plan to store toilet paper, etc. on it.- Can sit on the floor or be hung on the wall.- Flexible shelf configuration - There are multiple holes in each of the two side sections that allow you to place the shelves at different heights to suit your needs.CONS:- The joining hardware is visible on each shelf, but once items are loaded on it, you barely notice it.- Requires assembly.ASSEMBLY: This shelf comes with 10 wooden parts and the necessary tools and screws etc. to put it together. Be a little cautious though as some of the cuts & drill holes were a little ragged and can cause splinters. Overall the wood is already smooth though so not a problem once you have it assembled. I will note, you have options on how you want the shelves configured - there are pre-drilled holes all the way down the sides that allow you to select the preferred height. I wanted extra room for the toilet paper at the bottom, but if I was using this as a decorative shelf only, I would have dropped the top shelf down one notch and the center shelf two notches to make the spaces even. It really is up to your needs.
