If you need a good multimeter that keeps you safe, get this one.
It's a great multimeter which is of course no surprise because of Dave Jones from the EEVblog (YouTube). It feels very sturdy and I like the large display. I had a look at the massive fuses and other protection circuits inside which make this meter very safe to use. There may be other meters with more functions for this price but they usually only claim compliance with safety standards and if you open them have none or only laughable protection. Over the years I have accumulated 5 or 6 multimeters and the BM235 is the only one that actually has decent protection inside. My other meters are fine for low voltage electronics stuff but for anything with mains voltage I now use only the BM235. A function on the BM235 I rather like is REC which makes the meter record min,max and average values. I use this when I measure something tricky where you need to concentrate on holding the probes without having to read the display at the same time. My BM235 came with firmware version "g" which is one newer than the latest list of firmware versions in Dave's manual (May 2017 version). The plain white box contained the meter (with batteries), high-quality leads, shrouds for the leads and a K-type thermocouple for temperature measurement, but no instructions, manual or any other type of paper. It is not a problem for me since you can download a rather good manual (with Dave's annotations) from the EEVBlog site as PDF but people who prefer to find a printed manual in the box may find this annoying. One more thing, you can of course get the same BM325 slightly cheaper directly from Brymen which has then a red case instead of blue, but I rather enjoy Dave's videos and support his quest in raising awareness on the dangers of unsafe multimeters.

The meter is great and well within spec....but
The meter is great and well within spec....but it is £50 more expensive for the EEVBlog decor. I would just buy the Brymen direct and original as the blue decor does not improve the instrument at all. All good if you are a total fan boy else FAIL

Ripper! Better than the Fluke 115 it replaced!
Very impressed so far, it replaced a perfectly good Fluke 115 because I wanted something a little smaller and I trust Dave Jones opinion. Build quality is not quite up to the Fluke with a couple of finishes looking cheaper and cheaper feeling plastics and function switch but to drop a star would be whingeing - And I'm not a whingeing Pom! The areas where it scores over the Fluke are, it's clearer display with larger digits, seems quicker to read, doesn't auto power off so quickly, better quality test leads that standard Fluke TL71, more features: Temperature etc. And it was cheaper than a fluke 115. Time will tell if it is as reliable as a fluke...

Been waiting for this to be available in the Uk
Excellent meter for the price, good set of features. It's spot on accurate with high quality and robust build. Display is excellent, large contrasty digits visible from a distance and a variety of angles. Only (very) minor gripe is that the last digit of reading can take a couple of seconds to stabilise.

Fantastic quality and very quick and accurate.
Backlit display is very useful at times. And it's as accurate and repeatable as can be, which is why it is worth every penny.
