I figured that out the hard way. Also put a lot of sorghum in, and you wont even need the rag once it gets going! **Q: How many oz of popcorn kernels can be loaded into this machine?** A: 6 ounces **Q: Can I pop less than 16 cups at once?** A: Just be aware, the less you put in, the kernels will fly out and not pop. They are hot and fly everywhere. **Q: Can you pop/ puff grains like wheat or other small grains?** A: No. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ منتج سيء وخطير، ممكن غير مطابق للمواصفات السعودية *by K***D on 24 August 2025* اشتريت هذه الماكينة وشحنتها إلى السعودية. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The easiest way to make homemade popcorn *by T***Z on 18 February 2026* I gave this 5 stars because it does what it advertises, it is quick, one heaping measuring cup fills a 5-quart mixing bowl with popcorn, it is easy to fill, clean up takes about 5 seconds, its compact, and the price is right. Some comments. Be careful because it is quite hot after use, as warned in the instructions. I mention this, because one does not expect a thin plastic item to be that hot. When all the corn is popped, I turn off the button and go about adding butter and some salt to the popcorn then sit and enjoy it. Later I come back for my 5 second clean up. It is inefficient to melt the butter in the measuring cup, I use a paper bowl in the micro, easy and no clean up. I have been on a low carb diet for a year, and this is my go-to snack. Use it about every two days. It does shoot some popped and unpopped corn around the countertop, but I don’t find it to be bothersome. There is only one item that slightly bothers me, and that is the two plastic clips that attach the plastic top to the base. They seem to be somewhat fragile. And therefore, I am careful when I attach the top to the base. One year update: I have used this popcorn maker 3 times a week for over a year, and it still works well. However, the weak part of the unit as I mentioned before is the plastic clips/prongs that attach the lid to the base. Although I took great care, eventually all the prongs broke off. The lid can still rest on the base, but there is a definite possibility that the lid might fall off during the popping. I simply placed a heavy weight in the measuring cup unit in the lid, and I continue to keep popping corn. I still highly recommend it because of its ease of use and cleanup and low price. I see no problem in buying a new unit once a year if desired, but for now I am happy with my jury-rigged solution. Note: As I mentioned before, popcorn is the only snack I allow myself; lost 40 pounds so far. ## Frequently Bought Together - DASH Hot Air Popcorn Popper Maker with Measuring Cup to Portion Popping Corn Kernels + Melt Butter, 16 Cups - White - Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet Popcorn Kernels, Original Yellow, 30 oz. - Kernel Season's Popcorn Seasoning Mini Jars Variety Pack, 0.9 Ounce (Pack of 8) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/489308766-dash-dapp150v2wh04-hot-air-popcorn-popper-maker-with-measuring-cup](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/489308766-dash-dapp150v2wh04-hot-air-popcorn-popper-maker-with-measuring-cup) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
