First impression:👀 The bulb is marked with PHILIPS oven 40W 240V 300 degrees C. It has a brass body and the bulb is about 45mm diameter and overall length of 75mm, of which 55mm is the part that sticks out from the bulb holder in the oven - in case you are worried about the enclosure it has to fit into.What I liked:✔️ My bulb came with a brass thread like the bulb it replaced. This doesn’t really matter as steel will do, although I prefer brass for this type of application.✔️ Came as a two pack. I thought that this would help me once the first one blows, but I have put the spare away somewhere and can’t find it now.✔️ The bulb was a perfect replacement for the bulb that was installed.✔️ Reasonable bulb life. I think a few years from one of these bulbs considering what they have to endure is good going.Anything I didn’t like so much:❌ Nothing.Conclusion:✅ I thought that I would update on how long these bulbs last. I bought this pack of bulbs 3 ½ years ago and the bulb has just blown – hence my writing a review. I can’t find the spare so I am going to have to buy some more of the same. So, for the long life in a harsh cooker environment these are definitely recommended and I have another set in my cart right now, which are pictured since they arrived quickly.Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

Been in my oven for over a year, and still working, so happy. Bought a cheaper version and it failed within six months. Nice and bright, great price for two, happy days.

Not great regarding life span. Do the job as intended. Maybe get a year out of them in my experience. Writing this review in 2024, I see these now cost £15! They used to be £5 to £6 for 2 when I last bought them in 2021. And that wasn't on sale.

I have used these in the past and been pleased with them. The last one remained in use for 12 months. I ordered these for stock as I like to have a replacement on hand, if needed. My oven is 6 years old but I have only needed 3 bulbs so far.

Badly packaged in manufacturers box although Amazon had packed in bubble wrap.Have bought this light bulb before and clicked buy again. Not convinced it is for oven use, it does not say this on the box as previous boxes have done. Very lucky the bulbs not broken as rolling around loose in the box
