Hard to find locally, so a good value purchase
These little strawberry flavoured Smints are really good. They aren't overpowering and being sugar free I don't feel guilty eating a few! One tin weighs about 35grams, contains 50 triangular shaped sweets and is approximately 83 calories. Usual warning noted, as they contain phenylalanine you a warned not to eat too many due to possible laxative effects. (can't comment on that!!). They have a good shelf life (Up to Feb 2026) so I can take my time. Each tin comes individually wrapped in a plastic/cellophane cover. The tin could have plenty of other uses after you've finished eating the sweets or it can be recycled.

Issue: Incorrect / misleading dietary information
You can report it to Amazon like this:**Issue: Incorrect / misleading dietary information**The Amazon listing states that **Smint Sugar Free Strawberry Mints are “Suitable for Vegetarians.”** However, the product I received contains **carmine/cochineal (E120)**, which is an animal-derived colouring made from insects and is generally not considered suitable for vegetarians. In addition, the **actual product packaging does not appear to state that it is suitable for vegetarians**, which conflicts with the information shown on the Amazon product page. Please investigate and clarify:* Is this product actually suitable for vegetarians?* If it still contains carmine/E120, why is it advertised as vegetarian?* Has the formulation recently changed?* The Amazon listing should be corrected if the current product is not vegetarian. This is important dietary information and customers should be able to rely on the product description being accurate.
