Dr. Beckmann Service-it Deep Clean Washing Machine Cleaner, 250g

I'm really pleased with this washing machine cleaner. It was very easy to use, you simply pour the contents into the drum, making sure nothing else is in the machine. It says to run it on a cycle of at least 60 degrees, but I chose to do a hot, 90 degree cycle, as my partner has a messy job, and I wanted it to have the best chance of removing any gunk! I thought it did a great job. It foamed well, my machine looked shiny clean, there was no residue left behind, and it smelled nice and fresh. I obviously can't say if it did much to the places where I can't see, but I will honestly keep buying and using this, once a month or so maybe, as I think it's well worth the money.

Stuff is amazing but please send it in a plastic bag as it was sent in my subscribe and save and the box split. This stuff made my hands itch like mad as it was all over my order. I did get a replacement so still happy but send it in a bag!

Using it couldn’t be easier. Just empty the whole 250g box into the drum, no measuring required, and set your machine to run at a minimum of 60°C for at least an hour. I opted for a 90°C wash, which lasts for 2 hours on my machine, for extra thoroughness. After just one wash, the disgusting smell that had plagued my home for years was completely gone, and three weeks later, it still hasn’t returned. I’m absolutely amazed at how effective this product is. It left no mess, no residue, and it feels like I have a brand-new washing machine. For the price, it’s unbeatable. I paid £2.90 for the 250g pack, which is enough for one full clean, and I’ve seen the price drop lower. Given how effective it is, that’s an absolute bargain! I’ve already ordered a few more packs to use regularly, as it’s recommended to use every 1-2 months to keep your machine in top shape. The cleaner is supposed to leave a lemon fresh scent, though I didn’t really notice that. But honestly, the fact that my machine no longer smells at all is a win for me. Now all I can smell is my laundry detergent, and that’s good enough! I’ve tried a lot of other products, including well-known brands like Dettol, but none of them were able to tackle the odour like this. It also worked wonders on the limescale build-up in my 20-year-old machine, leaving the drum and seals sparkling clean. This cleaner is suitable for both front-loading and top-loading machines, and it’s great for prolonging the life of your appliance by preventing limescale and dirt build-up. If you’ve been dealing with an awful odour in your washing machine like I was, I can’t recommend this product enough. I wish I had found it sooner. It would have saved me so much frustration. Did the job

My washing machine was in need of a thorough inside clean. I have tried things before with little success apart from the drum which came up sparkling. After reading the reviews I was still a bit sceptical about my old machine (12+ years) coming up clean. Following the instructions: I emptied the contents of the packet into the drum and set to a wash cycle of 90 degrees. Upon completion, the drum door and seal all looked and smelled good (I never had an odour problem as the door is always ajar when not in use). The drawer compartment, which has always been a pain to get clean, being plastic with lots of tiny hard to get to places actually looked pretty good despite the yearts old stains. As soon as the cycled finished I took the drawer out and plunged it into a bowl of hot soapy water which, with the aid of an old toothbrush, completed to task of removing the grime, it floated off. Now the drawer compartment looks so much cleaner. I am very happy with the product and will use the other two packets in a few months when I feel the machine needs it. At £2.00 a pack - it is great value and so easy to use.
