Please, i wanted to know if it floats flat on the surface of the water or it floats with one end on the water surface & the other in the water?** A: Usually floats flat, but occasionally water enters hole at bottom and head sticks out - just lift out of water and empty and will float flat again. **Q: This thermometer has just leaked red liquid into my baby's bath. I'm glad to know that it isn't mercury but could you tell me what it is please?** A: I believe it is alcohol (ethanol) with red dye, but there might be options. **Q: Hello, can this also be used as a room thermometer?** A: Seems to read my room temperature pretty accurately! **Q: Is this thermometer bpa, phthalate and pvc free please?** A: Sorry I don’t know. This would be a question for the seller ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 July 2026* I’m extremely pleased with the BabyOne Giraffe Baby Safe Floating Bath Thermometer and would happily give it five stars.
