Easy to follow instructions make these laces easy to fit. Once you have cut the laces ,burn the ends to stop fraying. The laces stretch but I don't think that they will loosen off to much in time. Would recommend.

I bought these because I have a problem with acid reflux and therefore, bending double to reach my feet can have unfortunate consequences! However, once installed and fixed, I find I still have to do approximately the same amount of bending to loosen, put my foot in, then re-tighten these ties. Perhaps this will improve as I get to know them better and any advice from fellow sufferers/users of elasticated laces would be greatly appreciated. Therefore, so far the jury is out. I haven't had them long enough, really, to give them a proper assessment - I usually wait at least three months before doing so.

Very practical and easy to install.

Quick delivery, arrived as described. I've had several pairs over recent years; used on both trail shoes and trainers, can also mix and match the locking cap, RaceLace clamp and lace colours if you have multiple packs. Easy to fit, ensuring laces not to tight to begin with if intending to use as slip on, can then be quickly and easily tightened using RaceLace clamp when required and end of lace cap neatly tucks away, no annoying flapping laces. Clamp remains firm and laces stay locked in position whilst walking, running, hiking. The elastic flex also creates a more preferable fit in most footwear with less pinch points. I've avoided using these on rigid technical alpine boots where foot position needs to be firmly locked, but for everything else these are great. No hesitation buying again.

These are awesome bought to try out on some old trainers for triathlon and love them they work perfectly and I’ll cruse at 4:45km pace and no issues with slipping or loosening. Haven’t used them on any sprint sessions but that’s not what I’ll want from them so…..

Installed my Lock Laces on a pair of Altra Via Olympus 2 road running shoes. Bought a second pair for my Altra Lone Peak 8 trail shoes (not installed yet). Expensive for what they are in comparison to traditional shoelaces. They work as advertised and are easy to install. However the end cap, or lace tidy, for want of a better term, is very fragile and will come off easily enough if you tug to hard on the laces to tighten them up. Opening the lace tidy is very fiddly. There's probably better, cheaper products out there. For now though, I'll test them on the road, treadmill and trails and see how they get on. These will do the job for a while. When they give up the ghost I'll probably look at an alternative speed lace solution.

My favorite like about these laces is that you can adjust them on the fly thanks to the locking device. If you needed or want them tighter, it's a simple tug on the laces through the lock and you're done. When you slip them off, it's the same thing just in reverse. The no tie method with these laces is so convenient that you'll want to replace all of your shoes laces with them. Although I do have to say that they look their best with athletic shoes. I went with the color black because it's universally bulletproof and the color just matched my shoe the best. Lock Laces have completely changed running for me. They make it ridiculously easy to get a nice, snug fit all the way down and tie it off perfectly every time. I no longer have to worry about laces flying around when I'm running, smacking into my ankles... just tuck the clip end under one of the lacings and you're good to go. I own two pairs of Lock Laces -- one neon green (for my Minimus MT20v2) and one yellow (for my Minimus MT10v1), and both times they have greatly improved the fit and comfort of my shoe.
