Adjustable tap socket
My husband needed this on his job site and so, with Amazon, I was able to send to him. He reports tap socket works exactly as it should. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Chuck tightening is problematic, great tool getting an extra ability to make perfect taps.
Great addition for any tap set! easy to use and versatile. Unfortunately the need to re-tighten the chuck is problematic.

It works.
Not many options out there for this kind of tool The chuck doesn’t cinch down on the tap bit without a lot of force but it does the job. Expect to use pliers sometimes. This fits a 3/8” socket connection and I think you can use up to a 3/4” tap.
