I'm using this 2TB Samsung 990 PRO as the only storage device on my PC and it's extremely fast. Programs and games open instantly! If you're looking for speed, I recommend using the 990 PRO as the sole storage device for everything.

It's very fast & runs cool. I used it in my laptop. I prefer being cooler over the higher performance. This is perfect choice. Once I notice the performance & temperature ordered the 2nd one.

I recently upgraded my main drive to this ssd and so far I'm able to utilize the speed upgrade from my previous drive and the space available. Software and games loading time is now much less than usual.

Its working great

Very fast, several times during the benchmark speed test the temperature rose to 69 degrees Celsius. Very happy with the device.

Recently SSD price increased much as crazy, but this one increased slightly less than other products. That's the reason I purchase it. Unfortunately, its Write speed at 6650MBps and Read speed about 6800MBps on my PC which are lower than expected.

Utilisé comme disque principal et secondaire sur PC fixe. 📦 Contexte d'achat : recherche d'un SSD NVMe haut de gamme fiable, acheté en période de promotion. ▫️ Vitesses de transfert excellentes : jusqu'à 7 450 Mo/s en lecture et 6 900 Mo/s en écriture séquentielle selon les specs constructeur, parfaitement ressenties à l'usage (copies rapides, chargements très courts en jeu, boot système très rapide) ▫️ Samsung se montre plus fiable que Crucial sur la constance des débits lors de transferts prolongés, d'après mon expérience comparative ▫️ Endurance certifiée 1 200 TBW, gage de fiabilité sur la durée ▫️ Contrôleur avec revêtement en nickel et gestion thermique intelligente intégrée pour limiter la chauffe ▫️ Aucun souci observé depuis l'installation ⚠️ Point de vigilance : comme tous les SSD NVMe hautes performances, le disque chauffe assez vite en usage intensif — prévoir un système de dissipation complémentaire (radiateur passif, pad thermique, ou film dissipateur type graphite/carbone) pour optimiser la tenue thermique dans la durée. 💡 Le conseil : vu la hausse récente des prix des composants, je recommande vivement de guetter les promotions pour ce modèle — le rapport qualité/prix devient alors imbattable pour ce niveau de performance. Ho acquistato questo SSD per aggiornare il mio PC / console (o: per velocizzare il mio sistema operativo e i giochi / programmi) e devo dire che ha superato le aspettative. Cosa mi é piaciuto: Velocità impressionante: l’unità raggiunge velocità di lettura e scrittura sequenziali fino a circa 7.450 MB/s in lettura e 6.900 MB/s in scrittura. In pratica il sistema si avvia in pochi secondi, i giochi caricano quasi istantaneamente, e grandi trasferimenti di dati vengono gestiti con facilità — un bel salto rispetto a un SSD “classico” o SATA. Ottima reattività anche sotto carico: l’SSD risponde sempre prontamente, anche trasferendo file grandi o durante sessioni di editing/video/gaming. Perfetto se usi software pesanti o giochi AAA. Efficienza energetica e buona gestione termica: nonostante le prestazioni molto alte, il drive risulta relativamente efficiente e stabile, con un sistema di gestione del calore ben realizzato. Capacità ampia (2 TB): molto utile quando installi sistema operativo, giochi, software pesanti e vuoi spazio a disposizione senza dover cercare SSD aggiuntivi. Se cerchi massima prestazione, tempi di caricamento rapidi e un sistema fluido e “scattante”, questo Samsung 990 PRO rappresenta oggi uno degli SSD NVMe consumer migliori sul mercato. È ideale per gaming, editing video, lavoro su software pesanti o semplicemente per chi vuole una macchina veloce, reattiva e pronta a durare nel tempo.
