And Amazon was no help and USA Pan was even worse..more or less told me to go away. But I see from your reply that I should have complained that it was different from description. Sad..I have at least six older USA pans that I love but something is amiss at that company, I think. Very bad customer service..not standing behind your product. **Q: What is the outer dimension for the pan including the handles?"** A: The precise outer dimensions are 17.75 x 12.75 x 1 inches. Hope that Helps! **Q: How do you clean these? I have one and the grease is really cooked in. Not sure which approaches are safe without damaging the coating.** A: I have had mine a couple of years and grease is baked in hard on the bottom side! I use a silicone mat on the top side. I guess if you don't clean your oven every time before using these pans, grease from the floor and walls of the oven manage to get on the bottom of the pan. Because of the grooves in these pans, it is impossible to get it off. I will never again buy pans with grooves. **Q: Have only used once and the coating is chipping off, plus pan stained after one use?** A: I have used mine 4 times and there is a little chipping of the finish. I did use metal spatula. As mine is so new, I can't speak to the longevity of the coatings on the pan but I tend to use foil or baking paper regardless. One thing to watch is the size of the pan vs oven size - this one is large and only just scrapes in (literally).
