INNOVA 3568 Digital Timing Light

Great build quality, very easy to use.

Fairly intuitive controls with built in tachometer. Easy to set the advance, really useful on my car which doesn't have fine enough timing marks. You can switch off the strobe to preserve bulb life.The only downside I found was the reset for the advance was too near my thumb, so I'd keep putting it back to zero. Was fine once I remembered not to be clumsy! Not sure if the lamp is bright enough if you are outdoors, was fine in my garage.I didn't get the case seen in some of the user photos above, so if you are expecting one (it isn't featured in the seller info) then you might be disappointed.It picked the spark on my 70s classic up much better than my old, cheap, Gunson unit which I'd used for years. Highly recommended.

I tune classic cars for a living and normally use the Pro 5568. However due to the time required for getting my pro replaced I bought the 3568 with a more readily available delivery date. In comparison of the two, the 3568 physically feels cheaper, lighter and of a lesser quality than the 5568. Plus it does not come with a protective case for carriage and storage, and instead is only supplied with a vacuum formed clear plastic packaging which after removal goes in the bin. To be honest, I expected to a more quality feel to the product.....too early to tell how long it will last for.

Went to use for the first time, timing light does not work. Ho do I get replaced, repaired, or refund?

Just what I needed. Very satisfied.

I had no timing marks on my 1939 Alvis just a notch at TDC - so this was invaluable in setting the correct advance!
