Primacare 3693BK Taylor Neuro Hammer Black

My previous tendon hammer was finally broken after 9 years, bought this as replacement 2 years ago, does the job and has the sharp edge for pabniski and pin prick testing

Excellent perfect for what I need.

Pretty basic tendon hammer. Quite small but does the job. Handle is sturdy solid polished metal with rubber head. It’s not that long so you have to give it a bit more force to get a result but for the price it’s fine

Simple tool, it does the job if you just want to test on yourself or others.

This reflex hammer is a very simple one - it's of the Taylor model, and the production quality is not very good, the head is made of very light, possibly hollow plastic, and it looks a bit unfinished. It is very light, so you may be tempted to use some extra force swinging it. The handle is shaped with the spike on the end for administerinf the plantax reflex test, too, so the basic functionality is there, so for the price you'll be getting a functional product, just don't expect the quality to be very good.

Works as intended. It's a reflex hammer, it's not a super high tech piece of equipment. The bottom of the handle is sharp so it can be used to test fine touch sensation during a neurological exam. I'm surprised so many reviewers with a medical education failed to realize this. For the price, it's perfect for a medical student or health professional student.

No está mal, aunque algo más ligero de lo esperado. Cumple su función. Un poco por encima del precio para lo que es.

Ich hatte nach einigen Rezensionen Bedenken, was das Gewicht und damit die Handhabung des Hammers angeht. Allerdings ist gerade das Gewicht ein Grund für mich gut zu bewerten. Sehr angenehm in der Kitteltasche mitzuführen, da er kaum aufträgt. Eine neurologische Untersuchung mit allen relevanten Reflexen ist problemlos möglich. Habe mich zu Hause ein wenig damit eingeübt, da es schon anders ist als mit einem schwereren Hammer aber dann ging es gleich. Ich würde den Reflexhammer wieder kaufen.

Pas très efficace ce marteau, car il est trop léger, ce qui fait qu'il faut frapper vraiment fort pour que ça se ressent.
