Pull back function did not work on this car, no matter how much I tried, no matter how many different ways I tried. Christmas is here in just a few days so I'll let my son open it on that day but I'm returning it right after for something else. Dumb. Especially for this price. Also, mine seemed used. There was no pull out tab for the battery compartment.
