OEM Valve 154637401 for dishwasher

To me, this is an exact replacement. It has to be an OEM part... Just sayin'... It even had exactly the same permanent ink mark on the solenoid body. Went in perfectly and no unusual issues. This replaces the original that began leaking... on edit: 2/17/23 Ordered a 2nd replacement, I broke the 1st replacement while changing the springs on the door. This one also seems perfect and is working well at this time. Also seems like a direct replacement. Seems to be an exact OEM "like" replacement again. (no discernible difference for sure) I never mentioned, but this is on a Fridgidare model FGHB2844LFE dish washer...

01/06/2026 - received and installed the park on my Frigidaire FGHD2433KF1 dishwasher. It fit as a new part should and was easy to install even with dishwasher in place. No leakage notes, but I also used thread tape for additional leakege proofing. Great value for the price paid.

The part arrived on time and was an exact fit for my Frigidaire Dishwasher. The old inlet valve was about 7 years old and had stopped opening. Installation was easy and took about 20 minutes to complete. New inlet valve worked as expected!

Was a perfect drop in replacement for my defective Kenmore dishwasher part. I initially went to the site for Kenmore replacement parts and was glad to even be able to find the part I needed. Just before hitting the button to purchase, it occurred to me to see if the same part was available from any other source. I was surprised and delighted when I found it on Amazon for roughly half the price. Install was easy and has been working fine, leak-free for a few months now.

I was having an occasional leak while the dishwasher was running. Random. Like once a month. Enough to create a puddle in the kitchen. Once it started going into the basement, I called a plumber. He recommended I take the front door off and bottom panel and checkout this part. Sure enough, it was leaking. Ordered this part. It was at my door in 24 hours. All I needed was a plier, screwdriver, plumbers tape, and a wrench and I had this replaced in 1/2 hour. The leak is cured!! I kept the bottom access panel off a few days just to keep an eye on it. So far so good. It's an EXACT replacement. No cheaply made. It's solid and is the real deal. VERY VERY happy with this purchase. It saved me from buying a $600 dishwasher.

I was worried it would be an expensive service call and an expensive part, so i took a chance and ordered the part myself. It only cost about $20 and only took me 20 minutes to swap out, and now works like new with no leaks.

The old vale in the dishwasher failed due to debris in the line jammed up the valve. Trying locate a replacement from the local appliance store proved difficult, but thankfully I was able to find the correct replacement on Amazon and got my dishwasher working again (after adding an inline filter so the new valve wouldn’t fail like the original one did).
