Great product. Some assembly required to attach the IR LED emitters to the camera PCB (4 tiny bolts with hex 4x hex nuts). Items come in anti-static bags, screws and IR LED lenses come in separate bags. I would pair this camera with higher power IR lights for better night vision distance. The IR LEDs get you about 15 ft of range before it's too dim to make out in blackout conditions. Overall, very satisfied with the image quality and video quality for the price.

Doesnt load in octopi

One of the IR diodes was not cooperating. I was very lucky the camera quality is not ideal with the IR active so I took them off anyways. Boys also get toasty so throw some heatsinks on them.

Worked right out of the box, easy to set up with my RPi 3 with Rasbian Jessie. One of the IR lenses fell off but was easy to stick back on. Looks like it may be a feature. There doesn't appear to be a way to turn off the IR lenses so I may try to use the cam without them.

Very nice view. Near perfect at night.

Nailed the night vision option and the fisheye works great. Small front porch and from the top corner, I could see my front door and the road (about 40 ft from my porch) second and third camera will be an easy choice in the future.

Works

I tried this camera with both a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and a Raspberry Pi 4B. On the 3B+, I ran Rasbperry Pi OS Bookwork, and on the 4B, I tried both Buster and Bookworm. In Buster, I also tried with the Legacy camera support both enabled and disabled raspi-config. I also tried switching out the ribbon cable. In none of these cases did it work. The camera unit did seem to be getting some current, because the camera unit got hot.

La cámara está genial y el ojo de pez va muy bien para videovigilancia. Pero los LEDs se calientan mucho. A pesar de haberles puesto unos disipadores grandes la cámara se calentaba mucho, produciendo imágenes defectuosas. Al final mi Raspberry Pi 3 se colgaba debido, supongo, a algún fallo en el chipset de la cámara. Lamentablemente tengo que devolver el producto.

Die Kamera ist für den Preis beeindruckend gut. Habe sie genutzt, um die lauten Marder auf meinem Vordach zu beobachten. Dazu habe ich die Kamera mit einem Raspberry Pi 3B+ mit motioneyeOS verbunden. Das Video stammt aus meinem ersten, nur sehr wenig optimierten Aufnahmeversuch. Man sieht, dass ich noch nicht einmal den Fokus richtig eingestellt hatte. Natürlich haben die zwei Dioden nicht ausgereicht, um eine perfekte outdoor-Nachtaufnahme zu erreichen. Aber mit einer nachträglichen Bildaufhellung über 'magick -brightness-contrast 30x30' konnte ich mit ffmpeg x264 brauchbare Videos erstellen. Wenn man die Bildoperationen etwas tieferebenig in motion integriert, lassen sich die Ergebnisse mit einer Wildkamera für mehrere hundert Euro vergleichen und man spart sich das Geld für einen zusätzlichen IR-Strahler. I expected much more from this product. As many night cams I used before, all of them just switched to night vision and that's all, but this RaspPi night cam is permanently for night. During normal light, daily light, colours are not correct - i.e. grass is grey... I would not recommend to use this camera for any professional use, even for home security, you can find better options.

Acheté sans grande conviction "pour tester" je ne regrette pas mon achat. Je l'utilise pour surveiller la maison, une grande pièce en L de 45m2 et je vois bien toute la pièce. Le grand angle est vraiment bien large à la limite d'un début de fisheye. L'infrarouge fonctionne très très bien, ça ne permet pas d'avoir une qualité HD en pleine nuit sur toute la profondeur de la pièce mais je vois les murs du fond. Les IR restent toujours le temps allumées donc 2 points rouges en permanence mais ça va. Ça chauffe un peu aussi, ne pas trop confiner sans aération. Je recommande fortement ce produit.

Testata rapidamente in una camera buia, i due LED infrarossi sono regolabili tramite vite e garantiscono una buona visione degli oggetti al buio. Obiettivo di buona qualità, è equivalente alla fotocamera V2 ufficiale. Non testata all'aperto.
