Canon quality at a reasonable price.
I think I still prefer the comforting bulk of a standard DSLR. This camera has all the bells and whistles of the mirror less cameras that appear to be required in these modern times. It is reasonably easy to use, although I find the shutter a little too responsive and have taken many dual shots in what I thought was a light touch! A good option from Canon and not a bad introduction to mirror less cameras for the more experienced photographers wanting to try this option from a DSLR. EOS lenses can be used, so you don't have to worry about the expense of a new range of lenses. But you will have to buy a convertor to do so. Canons own can be brought for around ยฃ125, but I am sure there are less expensive ones in the market. The camera is considerably lighter and small than DSLRs, which takes a little getting used to. The bonuses are if you are out on a days shoot, you aren't lugging a couple of extra kilos around and suffering with the back breaking consequences. All in all not a bad investment, reasonably priced with the Canon brand and quality.

100% recommend this camera.
Absolutely amazing camera. Well worth the money I paid for it. Spent weeks looking at cameras and didnโt see any worth my time and money, then I came across this one and itโs an amazing buy. Itโs compact, size is definitely better than my old canon 4000D, weight is ideal for my needs. Highly recommend this camera, excellent for price, amazing photos taken with it and will be buying another one in a few weeks as I need 2 for my work If you have canon/sigma lenses, itโs worth noting that you will need a converter to the lens youโre using. I use the K&F eos canon converter

Great Choice for Sports and Wildlife
The Canon EOS R7 has emerged as a serious contender in the APS-C mirrorless camera market, offering a compelling blend of speed, resolution, and advanced features inherited from its full-frame siblings. Itโs a camera that particularly shines for sports, wildlife, and action photography, thanks to its exceptional performance and unique sensor crop. The R7's heart is a 32.5-megapixel APS-C sensor, which provides an excellent balance of resolution and low-light performance. What truly sets it apart, however, is its speed. With a mechanical shutter capable of shooting at 15fps and a silent electronic shutter that can reach a blistering 30fps, it's a beast for capturing fast-moving subjects. The autofocus system is another standout feature, leveraging the same deep-learning AI and subject recognition as higher-end Canon R series cameras. It's incredibly effective at tracking people, animals, and vehicles, locking onto the eye with impressive accuracy and tenacity. This makes it a "game-changer" for wildlife and sports photographers who need a high keeper rate for those critical moments. The in-body image stabilization (IBIS) is also highly effective, providing up to 8 stops of shake suppression when used with compatible lenses, which is a massive benefit for handheld shooting in low light or with long telephoto lenses. The R7's body is robust and well-built, with a deep, comfortable handgrip that feels secure even with larger lenses attached. The control layout is familiar to Canon users, though some reviewers noted the slightly unconventional placement of the rear dial around the focus joystick. The fully articulating touchscreen is bright, responsive, and a joy to use for both stills and video, while the electronic viewfinder (EVF), while not the highest resolution on the market, is clear and responsive. The dual UHS-II SD card slots are a welcome feature, providing a reliable backup for professionals. The "APS-C Advantage" and Lens Ecosystem The R7's APS-C sensor, with its 1.6x crop factor, is a huge benefit for photographers who need extra reach. A 200mm lens on the R7 effectively becomes a 320mm lens, making it an ideal choice for wildlife and bird photography without the need for an ultra-long, heavy, and expensive telephoto lens. However, the Canon RF-S lens lineup, specifically designed for APS-C, is still growing. While you can use any full-frame RF lens or adapt EF lenses, a limited selection of native RF-S lenses means that users may not always get the full benefit of a compact and lightweight system. The Canon EOS R7 is a fantastic camera that offers exceptional value, particularly for action-oriented photographers. It packs a professional-grade autofocus system, blazing-fast burst shooting, and a high-resolution sensor into a body that is both comfortable to use and a joy to shoot with. While the RF-S lens ecosystem is still maturing, the R7's performance and features make it a top choice for anyone looking to get serious about sports, wildlife, or even general-purpose photography and video.

Great camera
An excellent successor to my 7D mk ii. It will take me some time to get my head around its capabilities. No instruction book included with this item, thus only 4 stars.

Canon R7 mirrorless digital camera
The Canon R7 is a great camera and easy to use. Being a cropped sensor camera it can be used with all of my existing lenses, albeit with the RF to EF adaptor. The camera arrived in perfect condition when Amazon said it would arrive. I would not hesitate to buy through Amazon again

I would not buy it again.Low light issues and soft images
This camera does not fare well in low light.even in decent light itโs really poor. Noisy soft images ,pictures are never sharp despite experts showing me the settings to use. I donโt recommend it at all. After reading other reviews I wish Iโd kept my money .This is not a good product from canon. Tracking is rubbish too.
