Grammar and Punctuation Ages 7-9: Prepare for school with easy home learning (Collins Easy Learning KS2)

I am 69 years of age and I thought I should have a go at learning English grammar. I bet if you was to ask a grown up a question in this book, a grown up wouldn't know the answer. Maybe the age should be taken off the front page of the book as the book is good for children as well as grown ups like myself. I suppose the age is to specify child age who should be learning this, never mind my age though. Still all in all it's a good book, well worth a read and to buy. J

We've found this really useful during lockdown. It gives a clear breakdown of the different grammar elements in to good bitesize sections which are not overwhelming. Topics are explained and activities reinforce the learning. We as parents have learnt a few things - before we wouldn't have had a clue if you'd asked us what a frontal adverbial was!!!

Bought to keep my 7 yr old daughter up to speed with grammar / punctuation etc during the lockdown period. It’s well presented and easy for her to work on independently. Not as many pages as I would have imagined, so we are working through it quickly. Saves me printing out endless sheets from the internet though!

My children have all had these types of books, through their school years. They help consolidate learning at home and do give the child some fun in the process. I sit with my children to work through a page - takes about 10 - 20 mins per double page. I do think they help and my children are not the best behaved, not the best in class etc...they are just normal kids, sometimes naughty, sometimes nice and sometimes just want to play. These books keep them engaged.

This book has 20 pages with minimal content. It is way too expensive.

Great book for learning I have bought this book for my niece and nephew and they love it.Their grades in school have improved.
