Does what is needed
My daughter wanted this as this is the calculator her school uses. Does everything needed for her gcse work.

Too complicated
I imagine this product performs many functions very adequately but for simple, non-scientific calculations, it is not at all user-friendly and altogether too complicated. For example; 256 divided by 23 displays the fraction 256/23 which is not the mathematical conclusion and of no help. However, if the same function is performed using the "shift" (inv) button in the sequence, the answer becomes the preferred 11,13. Why this irritating extra action? I bought the fx-82ES PLUS as a replacement for my much-loved 45 year-old fx-361. I should have chosen another model.
