These work well in devices that take a single AA battery. The case fits the AAA snugly and provides for good electrical connections on both ends. The case fits fine in a variety of single battery devices. However, I've had difficulty using them in dual battery devices. The case is just a hair larger than a AA cell so, if the battery tray is cramped, fitting in two of these can be difficult at best, and impossible in some cases. That issue aside, these have been working well for me to allow me to use AAA cells in devices that take AA cells. The build quality is decent enough that I expect these to last for some time. Good value for the price.

These adapters are well made. If you don't care to get 20 of these adapters, $5.99 for 10 is the best value on Amazon today on 2023/11/13. It's a simple device with a two part plastic piece with metal leads that are pushed through the holes on the ends. Some of the metal leads were loose, but it shouldn't be a problem after putting the AAA battery inside, unless if the piece falls out completely, then that would be annoying. I used these to hardwire a Blink doorbell camera. Wires were soldered to the inner end of the leads, and the upper and lower portions of the battery adapter was filled with hot glue. Originally, this older house had a 12 VAC 6 mA all-in-one doorbell-transformer with a two conductor wire that ran from it to the doorbell. 12 VAC is inadequate to power part of the function of the Blink camera, and is even inappropriate to power the doorbell using the Blink doorbell button. Having given up getting the original doorbell to ring, I had set up a Blink Mini in the living room that rang when the Blink doorbell button was pressed. With the high amount of human traffic going by the front door and 12 VAC being inadequate to power anything the Blink needed, I hardwired the Blink doorbell camera. In place of the original all-in-one doorbell-transformer unit, I installed a 16 VAC/30 VA doorbell transformer (Defiant brand from Home Depot) and an AC to DC step down buck converter (ASIN: B0BJKN2GGG). Then, the two conductor wire connected the AC to DC step down buck converter to the Blink doorbell camera using the AA adapter that I made. The camera was powered with 3 VDC.

This is a good set of AAA -> AA battery adapters. Very simple and straightforward. I did have 1 of 10 that had a bad molding, but I think that is okay at the price point (I only needed two anyway). If you were buying a great quantity of adapters, you might want to consider a more premium product that had more reliable or durable manufacture.

I love these things. They save a LOT of money if and when you need D or C cell batteries. They are used in conjunction with the D or C cell battery spacer converters. I use them for flashlights and bait buckets. I was a police officer for many years and carried a D Cell flashlight. It is a shame these were not around during those years. Would have saved me a fortune and paid for these many times over. Not all bad because now I am saving lots on my bait buckets (aerators). They work and will pay for themselves quickly.
