On wearing the belt the occurrence of herniation gets eliminated HERNIA PADS: Hernia Pads are molded out of special grade ethafoam for appropriate hardness. They are extremely light weight, smooth and comfortable. Anatomic pads press the inguinal aperture at the appropriate angle, for enhanced effectiveness. Gives such good support and is comfortable to use. However, suggest underpants {like shorts} would make the straps, between the legs, more comfortable, so they don't rub the skin.
