I wonder if I could attach these to my surface cleaner?

I guess that depends on your surface cleaner. I purchase four of these casters to create a rolling car in the basement office bathroom. I can now hide the ejector pump (installed under the floor) with the cart, until an issue occurs and a plumber requires access.

Can the 2 inch dual wheels be used outdoors? For example to support a 100 pound planters?

As with anything metal you put out in the weather it will eventually wear out. Proper preparations to make them more weather resistant would be advised (powder coating or a waterproof metal adhering paint). As for supporting the planter I think they would work amazingly.

What is accurate height of the 1.5” caster from bottom of wheel to top of plate? One image lists 2.08” and the other list 2.36” in the same posting.

I wanna use seld drilling screws to install these. What's the screw size needed for the 1.5" casters?
