Niederegger | Classic Dark Choc Mini Loaves 200g

I'll start off by saying that I'm not a marzipan lover but my partner is and this is absolutely his favourite, so much so that it has become a must have for Christmas, Valentines Day and Birthdays. The only downside is the price which can at times be prohibitive but Amazon generally have some good deals in the run up to Christmas. So, while I cannot speak from personal experience, I'd say that this is a quality product for all marzipan lovers out there. 😊

Don’t know what these taste like as I detest marzipan but I have a friend whose addicted to it so bought for a Christmas gift for her. Took a risk as wasn’t sure on the use by date but had a good 5 months use by on it. Nice mini bars and packed well & neatly. Thought price was good as well as had seen them elsewhere for similar price but half the quantity. Good looking item. Know the recipient will be very pleased. Recommended.

These are really delicious and have always been a firm favourite of mine. I love plain chocolate and with a marzipan centre, who can resist! Not me!

I'm a marzipan fanatic. And Niederegger is the best marzipan manufacturer in the world (I'd love to do the factory tour in Luebeck sometime!) because, I think, they use a higher proportion of quality almonds and less sugar than other manufacturers - which is why they're more expensive. But I love the almond flavour with less of the sweetness. I especially think that the marzipan contrasts perfectly with the taste of the dark chocolate. These marzipan choccies are the best but expensive. But why only 4 stars I hear you ask?- because of the high price!

Chocolates are wonderful. But giving as a gift when Amazon decides to put the address sticker straight onto the box is just lazy.

Niederegger marzipan is among the best in the world. This shop on Amazon was significantly cheaper than John Lewis for the same item. Arrived promptly.
