Can these be used for citrus trees and what quantity of nitrogen is used? 1/3 slow-release nitrogen?

Sorry I do not know if they can be used specifically for citrus trees but they are a general plant food so should help citrus as much a sany plant. I have found them to be a good general food for most plants

You would be better to use something like a fortnightly liquid tomato fertiliser feed which is high in potassium levels. These are more like pellets to add to existing container plants to give them a 'pick me up' in the spring, in addition to a surface mulch.

I don't think they are suitable for seedlings. I used them in established plants and they were very successful.
