Measure where the funnel sits; machine labels alone do not confirm fit. **Q: Is the Mantis WDT tool spring-loaded or automatic?** A: No. This is a manual WDT tool. It does not spring back, rotate, or distribute grounds automatically. Keep the handle upright and move it gently by hand for direct control of the coffee bed. **Q: How do I adjust the needle depth?** A: Loosen the top of the handle, set the needles to move through the coffee bed, then retighten before use. The tips should not press against the basket bottom. Readjust when changing dose or basket depth. **Q: How can I prevent spills and uneven distribution?** A: Seat the dosing funnel flat on the basket, keep the handle upright, and stir slowly in small circles. Avoid pressing down or making fast, wide movements. Replace any bent or uneven needle before use. **Q: What can the 10-needle WDT tool improve?** A: The 10 replaceable 0.4mm needles help break up clumps and redistribute grounds before tamping. They support more consistent puck preparation, but results also depend on grind size, dose, tamping, basket, and machine flow. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/496087461-ikape-wdt-tools-espresso-stirrer-distribution-tool-for-barista-0](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/496087461-ikape-wdt-tools-espresso-stirrer-distribution-tool-for-barista-0) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
