This conditioner has worked well... a little goes a long way and it soon dries. As promised, it didn't darken the leather. I bought this conditioner to use on my 90s vintage Coach bags. They are glove tanned leather and will darken if the wrong products are used. This conditioner has worked well... a little goes a long way and it soon dries. As promised, it didn't darken the leather. The results are subtle as I have effectively 'fed' the leather, rather than applying a greasy coating, but I'm happy knowing they're being kept in good condition ready for the next 30 years. I won't risk use anything else, now I know this is safe. Some people have mentioned the scent being off-putting but I found my bottle doesn't smell strong or offensive and nothing lingers.
