These are an absolutely great bargain for the price. Every single one works. My only wish was that they were just a little bit shorter some how. I couldn't get them to fit in my old short light fixtures on the outside of the front or back of the house. Although they work great where they fit in currently. My suggestion is to make sure you measure if you are only buying these for one type of fixture. I was buying for several fixtures, so i wasn't too sad when they didn't fit those two. Now I can update those old tiny ugly cheap ones from the 70's. Its all perspective depending on your situation. I could imagine if you were a landlord and wanted lights to come on automatically at night, measure and or buy fixtures in mind or ones with built in sensors. Food for thought.

I have four outdoor LED lights on my porch, garage, and in my driveway that I like to keep on at night, but I don't want burning all day. These took care of that problem. The only thing I can complain about is that they push the bulb down about an inch lower than they should sit, so they aren't centered in the light globes anymore. That's more of an observation than a complaint. They've been in for a couple weeks now and have held up against rainy weather. Screw right in, no problem. Best price on Amazon for a six-pack, as far as I could find. They come on a dusk and go off in the morning, no problems.

Used this on some light bulb in my backyard and it work great.

I have it set for dusk to dawn, and if the sensor is in direct sunlight it wors fine, but on one two light setup only one light goes off in the daylight. I guess I will have to reposition the sensor or live with it asit is.

Only fit 1 of our 6 lamps so returned. It either made the area for the bulb to fit too small after installing or made the bulb protrude out from the top of the lamp and that was very ugly. Disappointed. That one did seem to function though.

I tried multiple sockets, none of them work. In one room, I couldn't get the light to switch on even by holding my thumb over the sensor. In another, it wouldn't turn off after coming on except after a 5+ minute wait. I never did figure out how long it took. I left the room and came back later and it was unlit but I didn't have the patience to standard there and time it. And even then, just from my moving around the room would cause a bit of a shadow to fall on the sensor (apparently) in full regular room light, the light would po back on. (Almost like a motion sensor!) I don't know what's wrong with these dusk to dawn light sensors but they don't work at all!
