I’ve been trying to be better about wearing sunscreen every single day, and this one makes it easy! I love that it’s tinted, so it helps even out my skin tone without feeling like I’m wearing makeup. It blends in nicely, doesn’t leave a chalky white cast, and feels lightweight on my skin. It layers well under my moisturizer and doesn’t pill or get greasy throughout the day. My sensitive skin had no issues with it, and I appreciate the mineral formula for everyday wear. This lightweight printer moisturizer is a daily staple. I’ve been using it for years and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. perfect for my very sensitive skin.

The light shade is basically white. I have extremely pale skin and usually can’t find products light enough. However, this one is much too white though it works well under your eyes! The medium shade is perfect for pale skin. Full of moisture so your face doesn't appear dry (I have very dry skin). Doesn't accentuate wrinkles because it's so moist. Covers well and stays on.

I like this sunscreen. It feels so light on. It is sheer, so very little coverage, but just enough to give a little color on no makeup days. I wish it was a little thicker. It is very runny.

I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it. I like any Neutrogena product, but this one. Neutrogena Purescreen+ Tinted (Medium) is super messy. I am making sure I do not store it on its cap. It is too liquidy. It actually is a liquid. I do not know if this is a mistake of the manufacturer. So it goes on smoothly, adds a nice tan color to my pale skin. I like that. I use it sparingly, and very carefully so I do not spill it on myself. Thicken it up Neutrogena.

Neutrogena Purescreen+ Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 is an excellent option if you are looking for a facial sunscreen with softer ingredients and without aggressive chemicals. Its 100% mineral formula, with zinc oxide as an active ingredient, offers good protection against UVA / UVB rays, and is ideal for sensitive skin or prone to irritation. What I liked the most is that it does not contain fragrance and feels very light on the skin. It absorbs relatively quickly and does not leave that sticky or heavy feeling that some mineral sunscreens have. However, as is common with physical filters, it can leave a slight white residue, especially in darker skin tones, although this is minimized if you apply it well and in small quantities. It is suitable for use under makeup, does not clog pores and does not irritate my skin (which is quite reactive). In addition, being part of the Purescreen+ line, it is formulated without oxibenzone or parabens, which is a plus for those looking for cleaner and more environmentally friendly options. In short, a reliable, safe and gentle sunscreen. It's not perfect, but it's a great daily option if your priority is to take care of your skin with a more natural formula

I am very happy I found this sunscreen. The best thing about it there is no white cast, so as long as you matched your skin color, there is no need to cover it with makeup. Some people recommend mixing light and medium, but I am perfectly happy with medium. It is very liquid-y, but I like it, it makes it very easy to spread, and it absorbs quickly. It feels a little oily right after application, but once absorbed it feels normal. I have normal skin. I bought it on Amazon on sale for $12, normally it’s $18, but much cheaper on eBay. There are 2 things that I wish were improved. First - if you travel, the packaging is inadequate, the sunscreen always seeps out and it’s super messy. Second - I wish the company made it available in 50+ SPF

This is one of the best tinted mineral sunscreens I’ve found in this price range, and I’ve been happily subscribing to it for about a year. I use it daily—whether I’m staying in or heading outside—and it consistently performs well. Ingredients & Skin Feel: The active ingredients are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, and it’s packed with skin-loving extras like vitamin E. I really appreciate that it’s fragrance-free and essential oil-free—huge bonus for sensitive skin. There’s no noticeable odor, and it blends in smoothly. Texture & Finish: It has a watery, lightweight consistency that feels a little oily at first—not greasy, just lightly moisturizing. Once it dries down, it leaves a soft, glowy finish that evens out my skin tone without looking cakey or chalky. There's no white cast, which is rare for mineral sunscreens! I do need to blot or lightly powder it later in the day, especially in warmer weather, but I don’t mind the glow—it gives a healthy skin look. Coverage & Wear: I’m not a foundation person, so the sheer coverage this provides is perfect for me. It has a neutral undertone that leans a little pink in the light shade, which works for my skin tone. In winter, I mix the light and medium shades; in summer, I wear medium alone. It stays true to color—no oxidation, no strange orange tint. It layers beautifully under concealer, too—no pilling or patchiness. Everything sits smoothly on top. Bonus Points: Water-resistant for up to 80 minutes—great for light activity or hot days. Doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts for me. Blends into my skincare routine effortlessly. Why I Gave 4 Stars: I do wish the SPF were a little higher. And while it works well for me, I wouldn’t recommend it for someone with very oily skin, since the glow could slide into shiny territory without some blotting. Also, sometimes it can leak out the cap when stored upside down. Final Thoughts: If you want a clean, comfortable, mineral sunscreen with sheer coverage and a natural glow, this is a fantastic option. It’s one of the few I keep coming back to—and that says a lot!

Purchased on the recommendation of Dr Dray, whose opinions I strongly trust, but on this occasion I feel she may be somewhat biased by her Neutrogena sponsorships. The colour is similar in depth to the Elta MD clear tinted spf, but less yellow, which suits me well. However, this feels like a typical American sunscreen - greasy, doesn’t soak in, and strong chemical smell. Due to the greasy look, the product accentuates my enlarged pores and rough skin texture. I will stick to my favourite, md solarsciences tinted spf.
