Does this test for Moissanite ?

The DuoTester can test Conductivity of Moissanite, and also Reflectivity if your Moissanite sample is a cut gem with a flat surface. In the Conductivity test, Moissanite would read into the Diamond range, narrowing the question to either Diamond or Moissanite. But then the Reflectivity test should separate the two species because Moissanite is more reflective than Diamond.

Does the duo tester work for torquise?

No torquise is not a reflective stone.

i do not test rough diamonds that show no clarity and just came out of the soil. the technical specs for the device is not totally dependent on the clarity ...yet is based on both their thermal conductivity and reflective indexes.
