Through the years, they have remained largely unchanged. Characteristically, they are Scandi ground knives with thick, round wooden handles. Most do not have a finger guard, which allows the person using it to get their hand as close to the cutting edge as possible. This gives the user very precise and controlled cutting. Its simplistic design is both useful and intuitive and has definitely withstood the test of time. To make the Tanimboca Puuko, TOPS has teamed up with Goran Mihajlovic. Goran is originally from Serbia but grew up in Germany. He has lived in Colombia now for the last 20 plus years. He owns a nature reserve called Tanimboca that houses hundreds if not thousands of species of plant, animal, and insect. Throughout his entire life, he has been a knife user and enthusiast. In recent years he has begun making knives at his forge in the desertcart jungle. He prefers Puukkos for their ability to perform well at large variety of cutting tasks. The TOPS version of his design mixes traditional elements with TOPS’ style. It has the classic Puukko blade with a very slight clip point. The spine is ground to 90 degrees for scraping tasks. Well-rounded Tan Canvas Micarta handles with red liners honor the traditional style. The knife sits deep in the leather sheath. Add a breakaway chain or paracord and it can easily be worn as a neck knife when needed. Once you get your hands on the Tanimboca Puukko, you won’t want to put it down. ## Features - The fixed blade and drop point survival knife is made of 1095 RC 56-58 steel - The fixed blade knife comprises 3.63" blade length and 7.75" overall length - Drop point style of the blade is supplied with Tan Canvas Micarta handle - Includes a slim, durable Brown Leather sheath with belt loop - Can be used both for tactical, hunting and survival purposes - care instructions: Hand Wash ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B074JHDGQL | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #453,737 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #1,697 in Fixed Blade Hunting Knives | | Blade Edge | Compound Bevel | | Blade Length | 3.63 inches | | Blade Material | High Carbon Steel | | Blade Shape | Drop Point with Slight Clip | | Blade Type | drop point | | Brand Name | Tops | | Color | Tan or Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (155) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00816411023466 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Tan Canvas Micarta | | Included Components | Tanimboca Puukko | | Item Length | 7.75 inches | | Item Type Name | fixed blade, hunting knife, hunting, camping, outdoor | | Item Weight | 3.98 ounces | | Manufacturer | TOPS | | Model Name | TPTPUK01 | | Model Number | TPTPUK01 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | TPTPUK01 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Survival,Hunting | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 3.6" | | Special Features | Induction Stovetop Compatible | | Style | Classic | | Theme | Jungle;Scandinavian Design | | UPC | 816411023466 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Manufacturer Warranty | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** High Carbon Steel - **Brand:** Tops - **Color:** Tan or Brown - **Handle Material:** Tan Canvas Micarta - **Included Components:** Tanimboca Puukko - **Model Name:** TPTPUK01 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Survival,Hunting - **Special Feature:** Induction Stovetop Compatible - **Style:** Classic ## Images ![Tops Knives Tanimboca Puukko 3.63in Drop Point Fixed Blade Knife - TPUK-01 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41H2I1Gav-L.jpg) ![Tops Knives Tanimboca Puukko 3.63in Drop Point Fixed Blade Knife - TPUK-01 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31qYr+l3m1L.jpg) ![Tops Knives Tanimboca Puukko 3.63in Drop Point Fixed Blade Knife - TPUK-01 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31pjY+GDzGL.jpg) ![Tops Knives Tanimboca Puukko 3.63in Drop Point Fixed Blade Knife - TPUK-01 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41eBcoAcjGL.jpg) ![Tops Knives Tanimboca Puukko 3.63in Drop Point Fixed Blade Knife - TPUK-01 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51uVdVGtQpL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - TOPS Knives Tanimboca Puukko 3.63in Drop Point Fixed Blade Knife - TPUK-01 - Tops Knives Mini Tanimbocca Puukko --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/49779884-tops-knives-tanimboca-puukko-3-63in-drop-point-fixed-blade](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/49779884-tops-knives-tanimboca-puukko-3-63in-drop-point-fixed-blade) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
