**Q: Does it support DPF regeneration on 2017 and newer Freightliner trucks with Detroit engines?**
A: For 2017 and newer models, we recommend the dedicated ANCEL HD431 truck scanner. HD3400 PRO generally supports DPF regeneration on pre-2017 Freightliner trucks with Detroit engines. Confirm compatibility before purchase.

**Q: Does it support DPF regeneration on Isuzu, Hino, and FUSO trucks?**
A: Yes, select trucks with Isuzu, Hino, FUSO, or Cummins diesel engines support DPF regeneration and maintenance light reset. GM gasoline and Daimler/Mercedes-Benz-based diesel applications are not supported. Both functions vary by model year and engine

**Q: Why won't DPF regeneration work even though my engine is listed as supported?**
A: Some Volvo trucks with Volvo engines cannot start DPF regen via a scan tool, even when the engine is covered. This is a vehicle limitation. Additionally, unresolved faults or unmet operating conditions required by the vehicle can prevent regen.

**Q: Does it support DPF regeneration on Chevrolet/GMC Duramax or Ram pickups?**
A: DPF regeneration is not supported on these pickups. However, partial code reading and clearing may be available through the Diesel OBD or OBDII menu on compatible vehicles.
