Kreg kit costs a bit, but worth every penny. If you're using pocket-holes in your joinery (and why wouldn't you?), these clamps are essential. I originally bought a kit that included the manually-adjusted version of this, and it was a real pain to use. This Automaxx version makes everything much simpler. You will need to spend a few minutes setting up the clamping pressure to your personal preference, but that should be a one-and-done exercist.I've got two of these now. If I'm joining long panels together, I clamp both ends and sink the first screw in the middle. Makes aligning joints a doddle.

This is a really well made product that enables speedy use of pocket hole systems. Other clamps can work but this one is specifically designed to work with the pocket hole system and it performs very well. Easy to adjust to different wood thicknesses and power of clamping is very strong providing confidence that you will get an accurate finish.

After owning this product for over a year I must state I would buy it all over again. Initially bought for use with the Kreg pocket hole jig, I soon found that it was able to be used where slightly deeper clamping needs, where a normal clamp would just not get. One thing to keep in mind when using this clamp (or any other) is that you don’t always need max pressure;otherwise, you may end up ripping the pocket hole up. I would have given five stars; however, the paint is starting to come off and spots of rust are coming in.

I read the reviews before buying this clamp as it seems expensive. From the very first time I used it, I understood why it was so good. It clamps the two pieces of wood allowing you to drive home the screws.If you use pocket holes a lot I can highly recommend using this.

The clamp doesn’t lock properly. Common problem from what I’ve seen. I have to process a return via kreg which they don’t make easy. Absolute rubbish.
