## Overview

The Kiorafoto EOS R8 RP Eyecup is a precision-engineered, soft silicone extended eyepiece designed exclusively for Canon EOS R8 RP mirrorless cameras. It enhances eye comfort by reducing nose contact, blocks stray light for improved viewfinder clarity, and protects your camera’s viewfinder from dust and moisture. The package includes all necessary tools for easy installation without obstructing the camera’s LCD screen or sensor functionality.

## Description

This Long Camera Eyecup is specially designed for select cameras. It adds comfort to eyes and reduces the contact from nose to monitor. Made of premium ABS plastic and silicone material, it is soft and durable, allowing more comfortable viewing when camera is held to eye. Simply slide to install, the eyecup mounts to the camera’s viewfinder securely and protects the viewfinder from dust, moisture and scratches. During shooting, it reduces interference by blocking stray light and studio lights from entering the viewfinder. Covering a broader area around the eye than the original’s, the extended eyecup is available to high-bridged nose and greatly enhances your concentration during long shoots. In addition, the use of eyecup doesn’t affect the normal use of the sensor and LCD monitor.

Review: Good product - Works well and easy to install
Review: Fits well... - As mentioned by others... You won't see the entire screen after swapping the eye piece. But for me, I wear glasses, it was the case with the original eye cup anyway! This is helping with the sensor detecting my face near the camera and lessen the smears in my viewfinder. The extra screws and small screw driver is top notch. 👌 a bit steep for what it is... but worth it for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked as designed & quick install
*by B***E on 24 April 2024*

It was easy to install. The provided screwdriver worked by applying a lot of pressure to the head. The extra screws are handy, dropped one and it went into the abyss. A little softer would be nice, but the other reviews say that it softens. It isn't too bad though. The distance away seems fine. Unlike some others, I can still see all of the display. All and all, I am pleased. Main reason is that it blocks all exterior light from your vision when looking through the viewfinder. It does that well.
