This is a really nice book, its tactile and thick. You could use this for anything, as a diary, a journal or just for notes. Its also useful for writers, songwriters and a whole range of other people. Why? Because the first couple of pages are designed as contents pages and there appears to be plenty of space over these. The other pages are numbered and there's an area for the date at the top - the good thing is that the writing is light and not intrusive, so if the date is not applicable it doesn't matter. There's a large pocket in the back cover so you can put stickers or notes in. The cover itself I believe is faux leather and is beautifully soft but robust. The cost is more than I'd usually pay for this type of thing but it's definitely worth it and I'd do it again - its even made me consider getting back into journalling (as I got the other one for work)

I absolutely love this notebook for my morning pages. The size is ideal—not too big, not too small—right between A4 and a standard notebook, making it easy to carry around but still spacious enough to write comfortably. The hardcover is essential for me since I often write from wherever I am and don’t always have a desk. It’s sturdy and durable, perfect for on-the-go writing. The double-thickness pages feel luxurious, and I appreciate the 320 numbered pages, meaning I don’t have to worry about running out of space too soon. The paper quality is as good as Moleskine but without the hefty price tag. The colour is beautiful, and I love the ribbon page marker—it’s a thoughtful touch. Plus, the little pouch at the back is a bonus! It’s perfect for storing mementos, stickers, or even receipts. Honestly, this is a fantastic find—great quality, great price, and a lovely notebook to use every day!

Needed a journal to keep track of my treatments, medication, side effects, etc of my chemotherapy and this one is perfect, has 320 numbered pages with the date you can write in the corner of each page, contents pages which is really helpful, 2 book marks and 4 sticky different colour tabs in the pocket inside the back cover, and pen holder. Bought the A5 size as it's the ideal size to take everywhere I go, really happy with this journal, will be perfect for my needs on this journey I'm about to start to recovery.

Amazing notebook. Finally, one that has enough pages to feel like I’m not constantly running out of space. Also, absolutely LOVE the B5 size. I use it for process notes as a trainee therapist (one page per session). So useful!! Really good quality, good price. Will definitely be buying from them again and again and again!

TL:DR: brilliant book but fails the fountain pen requirement. The package arrived, as usual, accompanied by a polite delivery guy. Tick! Once into the house again, I had various first impressions. Firstly, it’s a lot bigger and thicker than I had imagined (my fault for not reading the dimensions, but meh! bigger is better, here). Secondly it looks and feels very nice with its sewn in pages and all the good stuff like numbered pages, a Contents page or two, and two ribbons. There’s an added extra of a small pack of PostIts for indexing. So far so Five Star. Out with the fountain pen, and onto the real test. I would have said litmus test, but as what follows is a little blurred, maybe not. As soon as the fountain pen hit the paper there was feathering. I hoped it was because I had a newly filled pen, but alas not so. It’s not horrible: the words don’t run into each other, neither does the ink lie on the surface and never dry, which would be infinitely worse, but there is a definite softening of the line. As I continued to write, the ink continued to seep through. I do press hard I’m afraid: bad habits of too many years using a biro and pencil; but not sufficiently hard to furrow the surface. Turn over the page and you can see in the photograph how there is bleed through, and shadowing. In one place it has even bled to page 3. It’ll have to be biro, rollerball, or pencil from now on then. This is a pity, because the book is beautiful, feels classy, and has a real heft to it. I shall not be returning it, there is too much good versus the bad, but if bleeding is a vital reason for buying, beware. If wet ink isn’t an issue to you, this the the bee's. It’s fat, and fabulous, with all the traits of a good journal, or exercise book, but alas, you can’t have it all. Passing the fountain pen test would have given it five stars; as it is I cannot but dock it a star for disappointing me on that one score.

I love it! I bought the B5 size for three reasons; 1) it’s soft-back which is what I’ve been looking for 2) the pages don’t have the option to be ripped out like in the A4 option 3) I intended to us it as a journal and A5 would be too small and A4 too big (I provided a comparison picture of the sizes) The feel and look of the exterior is absolutely wonderful. Despite it having a faux leather cover, it’s of really high quality and feels great to touch. There’s a sturdy elastic band as well as a durable pocket at the pack with free post it notes. The stitching, that holds the book together, is well done. None of the pages are loose. I’m left handed so sometimes when I move my hand across the page as I write it can pull the page off - but not with this journal! The quality of the paper feels great and is quite good. But just know that it is only 100gsm in terms of thickness, so the writing does slightly show on the other side of the page when using a ball point pen (picture provided). But it’s not much of an issue for me because I use up all the writing space on both sides of the page so you can’t tell if there’s any bleed through. I would totally recommend this journal :) I bought the brown journal and as a bonus it does also provide a autumn-y vibe which is adorable.

Fantastic Journal. Nice thick creamy pages with no bleed through.If you need it there are pages numbers and a title space, pouch at the back and even some little page dividers. Equivalent in TG Moss formerly WH Smith is £14.99.

Now my work note book. Smooth lovely paper, so nice, I'm sometime reluctant to scrawl on it. The soft cover also feels nice. it is hard to write if not on a hard surface, but that is not the products fault. the soft cover means it lays pretty flat for a thick book.
