The hardest part of applying was trying to get all the ants out of the way! If you’re using to deter ants and they’re absolutely relentless as in my case and you care about nature as I do, I’d recommend applying at dawn or after dusk when ants are least active. The product was effective immediately, the ants crawling up the trunk were confused and couldn’t go past the grease. It’s been 3 days and there’s just the odd hopeful ant visiting, they realise there’s no way up and they’re gradually moving out.
