Bosch 2608602196 Diamond Cutting Disc Standard for Concrete

I was laying a new path with concrete paving slabs and my dad kindly lent me his large angle grinder so I could cut a few of them down to fit the irregular gaps. Upon closer inspection, to my dismay, it transpired that he had been using a buckled 230mm diameter disc for years on his 180mm maximum capacity grinder, having removed the guard to make it fit. I quickly bought this disc from Amazon to do the job and refitted the guard! I found that 180mm is a relatively uncommon size for these discs; the two most common sizes are 115mm and 230mm. Most brick and mortar shops don't stock a big range so it's far more convenient to shop online for 180mm discs, and this one seemed to be a good price for a well-regarded brand. Anyway, armed with the new disc I was able to cut through the 50mm thick concrete slabs very quickly and cleanly. Of course it was a very dusty, slightly unpleasant job but that's only to be expected! Perhaps if I had a cut-off saw with wet cutting capability rather than an electric angle grinder it would be a different story, but I only had a few slabs to cut and this disc made short work of them. I can't comment on the longevity of the disc but I should think it'll last a long time with the occasional use it's going to get - and frankly it's already paid for itself with the new path looking great and my peace of mind that daddy dearest will no longer be taking his life in his hands every time he uses his angle grinder!

Blasted through concrete gravel boards like a hot knife through butter, just the job

Cuts through concrete without issues. The only problem I have is that the blade has to be this size to fit my saw, so I have to go around a 100mm block to cut it 4 times each go. This is clearly not ideal. However, the blade has lasted ages, and is still going after about thirty blocks, so value for money is a positive.

We used this to cut bricks. It started to cut less well after about 100 (hollow) bricks. Possibly normal, but we were a bit disappointed.

Really really good blades. Cut like absolute butter compared to the ones the chaser i got came with. Honestly shouldve gotten them earlier as the chases are cut over twice as quick now, so less dust and messing

Used with a Makita angle grinder, this disc made very light work of cutting a channel in the lower section of cement render on an external wall, which I then chiseled off to allow to dry out before a planned re-render using a lime mortar mix next spring. By carefully cutting a channel of the right depth at the top of the section I wanted to clear, it made the chiseling much easier and the removal line much neater and crisper. For what it's worth, the disc looks like it will last a long time. Recommended.

Very good concrete cutting discs, works a lot better than all others that I’ve tried - I’ll stick with these from now on.

Very durable, cuts through brick, concrete and stone easily, I've used it to cut through brick walls and concrete tiles. The blade doesent seem dull at all yet in over a year of use on and off. Good value because of how long its listing, significantly better than the standard grinding disks.

Die Bosch Diamanttrennscheibe macht einen soliden Eindruck und schneidet Beton sauber und gleichmäßig. Für typische Arbeiten an Beton, Porenbeton oder ähnlichen Materialien ist sie gut die Scheibe liefert verlässliche Ergebnisse ohne großes Nacharbeiten. Für mich ein praktisches Werkzeug mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Für meine Anwendungen genau die richtige Diamantscheibe. Ich kürze bzw. passe öfters Zaun-Betonsäulen an um neue Zaunfelder, Türen und Tore zu setzen oder ich schneide Gewegplatten zurecht um Sie als Abschluß bzw. Verkleidung der Zaunsäulen zu nutzen. Hier für eignet sich die Concret von Bosch perfekt! Als Maschine nutze ich eine GWS13-125CIE und kann die Scheibe somit im optimalen Drezahlbereich halten. Ebenfalls nutze ich meist eine GDE125 Absaughaube, somit bleibt die Scheibe Kühler und der Staub wird US dem Schnittkanal gehoben was sich positiv auf den Schnitt auswirkt. Diese 125er Scheibe begeistert mich durch Ihr gutmütiges Schnittverhalten und der hohen Schnittleistung und den sauberen Schnittbild. Sie ist äußerst robust und ich erreiche sehr hohe Standzeiten. Für mich immer ein guter Kauf. Bitte beachtet aber das ich Sie ausschließlich zum Schneiden von Beton ohne Eisen nutze! Dafür gibt es andere Scheiben! Also Fazit: Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir! Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen.
