Tired with stick on phone holder!This time give a shot with this kind. Very wasy to installed. Sturdy. Perfect fit. No more fell off from the dash board because the glue dry out.So happy with this purchase. Order last night and delivered this afternoon. Impressive!

This phone holder works great! I don’t use my CD player in my car so it slides in there and holds the phone without wobbling. Other reviewers that said their phone fell out or flopped around must not have had the mount tightened enough. Great product!

Fits in CD holder, can be inverted as I have it in figure 2 (circled part) so rides "higher" if have a display screen that you don't want to block below. In this position, it rides higher than the MPOW one (that currently appears no longer available on Amazon) I am replacing; the MPOW, when phone was vertical, blocked a good portion of display, even positioned "high" similar to this one. This one won't (hopefully shown in photo #1) block much, if any, of my display. (May appear to block to some of view out windshield in photo, but in reality it doesn't.) If want phone lower, the circled area in figure 2 can be flipped downward by reversing how the clamp fits into the CD holder, positioning the phone/holder lower, all allowed by the 360-degree ball joint on the back.The unit I received was "stiff" -- when pushing the side bracket release button, the "arms" moved outward slower than frozen molasses in Vermont in Jan. A squirt of WD-40 into the separation mechanism, voila, problem solved, I'm a happy camper.Only design flaw that I see is that bottom bracket of holder does not lock into place, responds to gravity. If that turns out to be an issue, I'll either tape it or glue it in the "open" position. As long as I keep this gizmo vertical, don't think it will be an issue, unless I keep "hitting" that piece when placing the phone on into the holder. The side clamps would probably be enough to hold without the bottom bracket, but I want the security of the bottom bracket, too, with a phone I don't want getting dropped during a critical portion of GPS-ing.

I've been using this for probably a year now, and it still works great! Very durable and easy to use.

Good, but needs redesigned! Good points: Clever idea to use the CD slot. Its small, has a button that opens up the sides to place the phone, and the unit itself is pretty sturdy. Has some give for positioning/angles to use. It's on a roller ball and round plastic screw that goes over it. There's a dial you turn to tighten it into the CD slot which is sturdy.The issues: it raised my phone, which blocked part of my view when driving. As well as my dashboard/screen. I have a 2015 Hyundai santa fe sport. It goes up too high and no way to lower it down. (It will depend on where your CD slot is located on your car) Even if you could lower it, it would completely block mt dash/screen.It did hold my phone securely in the mount. I could only video showing my case that wouldn't stay, since I'm recording with my phone. It didn't hold my phone in the case securely either. The bottom platform the phone sits on is a bit weak, difficult to flip down at times. Overall, I'll be returning the item. It just didn't with fit my car/suv. See photos, videos. Could only upload 1 video, so I had to pick one.

This is great! It works perfectly in my CRV. I needed something eye level and it holds well. It’s perfect for my iPhone wallet case and easy to remove to get to my wallet.

Perfect phone holder for cars with CD players! I have not used my cd player in years due to just being able to use a Bluetooth transmitter. I hate having anything blocking my vents or putting a sticky ring on my dash so this was perfect. It is rock solid and even has a pass thru for my charging wire. Adjustability is fantastic, grip is rock solid, and the ease of putting it on and off is wonderful. It functions exactly the way I want it to and frankly I wouldn't change anything.

Works well for me and holds my Pixel4A securely away from direct sunlight. Phone is easy to mount and easy to dismount as it has only one push button to release. The side grabs also do not pinch the volume buttons as most regular holders do. So it seems designed by careful people. The horizontal holding function is great when using maps.
