I have 2 cavapoos and 1 of them has straight up poodle fur which gets matted easily and I end up having to shave out the matts. The other ones fur is a mix but it works just as well and is amazing for his tail too which usually he hates having brushed. I figured I would give this a go and I'm definitely not disappointed. It was really easy to break up the matts and pain-free for my pups too. The design is great with the thumb hold it makes it a lot more comfortable to use and because the ends of the brush are rounded i dont worry about it accidentally hurting my boys. I even ended up buying 1 for my mum as she also has 2 cavapoos and she said its amazing the difference she sees from just using a regular brush to this. I do recommend getting a good brush as well though, because while this breaks the matts and knots up, its a lot easier to get rid of the residue by using a brush after breaking them up rather than doing it by hand. Without a doubt a well deserved 5 star.

Fantastic product, bought this to use on my cavapoo. Shes got long thick curly hair. I've tried loads of different product but this one beats them all. Very easy to use, grip and thumb section is brill. Goes through hair with ease. First time had to do small sections as hair is so thick but after a few goes it glides through removing any tangled hair. Well worth the money

Detangles my cockapoo’s ears amazingly well. However the handle keeps coming off which is annoying. But it doesn’t stop the functionality of the product.

Easy to use, good handle grip

This gadget is AMAZING! I have a Maine Coon long haired cat who HATES me grooming ANYWHERE in his body apart from his face and neck!! He has a tendency to matt on his tummy (and back legs... but it is like a WWE match with a bobcat trying to get him to let me comb them out! THIS strange little gizmo however seems to get the matts out without hurting him... or just so fast that he does not realise in time to attack me 🤣🤣 This has been a boon to my Tibetan Terrier, too, who I keep on full coat, but he has REALLY sensitive skin, so grooming out the tats in his candyfloss fur has always taken ages to do, in attempt not to hurt him. (Makes my arm/hand really ache... swear it gave me frozen shoulder a few years’ ago!!) But THIS is brilliant! I run it through his legs and whilst it won’t remove smaller matts, it loosens his coat up and makes combing through SO much easier! Clever little thing! (Have not figured out how to turn the blade around yet though? Need to)

I was very sceptical of buying this comb, just because of the price I had already spent quite a lot of money, trying previous Combs which did absolutely nothing but claim that they were Dematting Combs. I bought this, expecting it not to work because of the previous five Combs that I’ve gotten that do nothing. However, it completely shocked me how quickly and painless removing the matts from my dogs fur because usually I have to end up shaving him every few months due to all the matts. I’m so happy with this purchase and by the way I have a miniature poodle, so this comb is perfect for this breed.

Quick delivery - reasonable price & easy to use. And...wow... What a difference this has made to grooming my two Aussie Labradoodles. They both disliked being brushed with slickers (one fights with the brush, the other runs away) but they were both happy to be groomed with this (in fact one lay down and asked to be groomed some more). Makes easy work of knots, mats and tangles (we have quite a few of these) and great for getting rid of the acculumated undercoat. I am so happy!!!

This dematting comb has been a lifesaver for my long-haired pet. It easily removes tangles and mats without pulling too hard or causing discomfort. The ergonomic handle is comfortable to hold, making grooming sessions much easier for both me and my pet. It’s perfect for keeping their coat looking smooth and healthy. Pros: Effectively removes tangles and mats with minimal discomfort for your pet. Comfortable, ergonomic handle makes grooming easier and less tiring. Con: The blades may need occasional sharpening to stay effective on thicker mats. Tip: Start gently at the edges of mats and work your way in to avoid pulling on your pet’s fur too much, especially if they’re not used to grooming.

Suitable only for mild tangles in the fur of your pet. In case the fur has dense tangles or is completely matted, the best and only option is to trim the hair short going gently and carefully under the matting !

Pros: easy to use, detangles stubborn matts easily Cons: fur will fly around as it shears through the knots (not much...just to detangle) Recommendations: especially for those with allergies, wear a mask. Either do it outdoors or keep the fan off. Also, don't tug the knots. If it's stuck, just remove and run it over the knots in short, quick movements. This way it doesn't hurt the dog. I received it today and tried it on my 1-yr old golden doodle. He is heavily matted after he spent 11 days with a sitter. He had a blast, playing in water etc. But he came home quite matted. Brushing was not helpful and hurting him. He let me use this brush and it detangled stubborn knots from his long, curly fur easily. I am severely allergic to pets and this tool did make me a bit sneezy and itchy and thus my recommendations about using masks, doing it outdoors and keeping the fan off. I have my air purifier running now. Get it. It's professional quality.
