I have always loved top quality tools, they make most jobs so much easier and last so much longer, my father always said buy the best you can afford, he was rarely wrong.

Usual standard at a great price

Not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said, but these punches seem to be the usual high quality and made of the right materials and I am looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship using them. I won't be using them everyday but they will be in my toolbox for when I need them. I have tried cheap ones before, which often ended in tears and damage, but I have high hopes in these punches.

Usual Starrett high quality, seems a shame to hit them with a hammer.

Have used this new item. Worked beautifully. Sturdy, well made. Quality of product that you would use to do work on your firearm. I was very impressed.

Reasonable priced for a Starrett product. Much better quality than my previous "C" brand. The case is pretty flimsy, but it should last in my tool box drawer. I wouldn't want to have it in my tool box, because it probably wouldn't last. The punches should last the rest of my lifetime. The knurled grip is much better than the smooth grip on my previous set.

I needed an extended length pin punch for extracting the pins on the Brembo brakes on my 2016 Challenger Hellcat. I have a punch set but of course the 3/16" has a tapered pin so the taper hits the caliper before the pin is punched all the way out. Any corrosion or debris on the pin will make it difficult to remove. But with the Starrett extended length punch I can punch the pin past anything that would hold it up. The best part is the quality of this tool, the knurling is deep and clean and the pin itself is made of high quality carbon steel. This is a tool designed to take a beating (literally) and last a lifetime. The anodized handle is cool looking and the heft of the tool speaks to the quality. The deep knurling insures that you won't lose your grip working with the tool. To top it off, the price is very fair given the high quality. Definitely recommended!
