SPINNY
I will rave on about this product for the rest of my life. I'm a simple person, I see pedal, I put foot on it. The spinning basket is great, fits enough water to clean a house twice over, it's sturdy without being bulky, and did I mention it has a spinning basket? The detachable mop-head is fantastic to clean, and the mop-head shape means you can clean quickly and thoroughly! There are only two qualms I have with it. 1) The shape means that draining it is a bit clunky. 2) the whole mop spins on the spinner, handle included, which makes it a lil uncomfortable to hold when spinning quickly.Still 5/5, fun and functional!

Such a treat to use!
Honestly, I spent HOURS of multiple days trying to figure out what the best mop to get was. I ended up settling on this one, and I'm so glad I did.I had one very similar to this in the past, but didn't get on with it very well. This one however has an improved pedal and also a draining hole for the dirty water. One thing I noticed was the same from the last mop, is the plastic triangle head on the mop head scratches your floor depending on the angle you're holding the mop at, so did some experimenting and figured out it's actually extremely easy to counter. Just lift up your mop from the floor, give it a little spin each way until the head of the mop is spread out, then mid-spin drop it flat to the floor. That, and also just a small adjustment to how you actually USE the mop. I keep one hand at the top, one hand roughly halfway down the pole, and lead with the hand that's half way down, making sure to keep the mop head flat at all times. No more scratching on the floor! It used to be a massive deal to me, but when I figured those two methods out, it's honestly not even at the forefront of my mind anymore, it's just become habit to do it and requires no extra effort. The quality of the mop itself is great, very sturdy, feel like it's going to last us a LONG time. There is no lingering smell as long as you clean the bucket out and rinse the mop head immediately after use. In case you do forget to rinse the mop head though, you can just pop it in the wash and it comes out great! Absorbency is fantastic, I love that the spin system allows you to adjust how wet or dry you want it to be, so it can cater to EVERYONE'S preferences. And to top it off, mopping feels so much faster now than it did before with my Flash mop. You would think it'd be the opposite since I now have the added step of using a bucket and actually spinning the head, but the amount of time and physical effort that went into using the Flash mop for tougher spots on the floor was insane! To conclude, this thing has made my life so, so, so, so, so much easier and I'm never looking back to Flash-type mops ever again.

Easy to assemble and use; fully non-rusting
A replacement for another 'system' mop that finally broke after several years of use and a few replacement heads; the metal handle rusted where it connected to the head. The major functional difference is that the older one required the handle to be pumped against an internal spring within it that spun the head while this uses a foot pedal on the bucket to achieve a similar result. The result in both cases is that the fibres are then touch-dry.The bucket is also longer and shallower than the last and has a longitudinal handle whereas all previously models used a transverse one; functionally, it makes little difference. There is a notch within the bucket handle that engages with the mop handle to keep it upright for storage or when carrying around the home. The "Vileda Turbo Microfibre Mop and Bucket Set with Extra 2-in-1 Refill" employs a microfibre 'string' mop head with two groups of fibres, the white to absorb moisture and the red to collect dust, grit etc. The strings within the head are only about half the length of those for its predecessor but there are more of them. A similar arrangement is used in a second mop currently used solely within the kitchen. The head attachment in this is triangular so as to effectively run along edges of cupboards and fitments and into corners to absorb the water and dirt that can collect in them which other mop head designs sometimes miss. The all-plastic handle is supplied fully collapsed, is telescopic and therefore can be set to a length to suit; it won't ever rust as did its immediate predecessor.'String' mops are preferred to those with cellulose strips for use on our textured wet-room floor; the woven cellulose wears rather quickly on the sharp edges in the moulded surface whereas this type seems to last rather longer. Each string head on the older mop lasted more than a year of up to twice-daily use whereas the woven ones at best last only 3-4 months under the same usage pattern. As with all 'system' mops, especially those by Vileda, it is advisable to stock at least a couple of spare heads as, with all things, new designs replace the old in relatively short cycles and although a mop may still be otherwise serviceable there will be a time when replacement heads cease to be available. The mop was easily assembled from its four components and instructions are really not needed. The head couples to its female holder and can be removed either for washing (in a washing machine or by hand) or replacement when it eventually wears out by holding some of the strings under-foot and levering the handle to the side. This system is fairly expensive but not the most expensive from the brand.

Easy to use
I purchased this mop & bucket set to replace an old one where the foot button was sticking. It must have been at least 10 years old. This new version isn't quite as sturdy as my old one but is perfectly suitable for its use. I like the fact that when you spin the mop well most of the water comes out and is perfect for mopping my floors. We have non sealed wooden floors and you can't leave them soaking wet so this mop is ideal.

Excellent mop
I have had a few of these over the years. I've moved countries so I've sold them or given them away etc. I always try a new 'viral' sort of mop to see if it has any edge over this one and they never do. It is just excellent.I havent tried the clean water version. What I can say is that this version is sturdy, the handle has never broken, neither has the mop or the pedal. The heads are washable, and you can get more. It is an exceptional mop. I can do my whole 2 bed in about 6 or 7 minutes. The mop I had before was a microfibre one that yiu push down and brushes are supposed to clean the head before you use it again? Worst thing I ever used.Get this mop! If youre considering another one, dont!
