Icecrypt DVB-T High Definition Digital HDMI Modulator with IR Control

Excellent piece of kit. I now have perfect picture quality all over my house over ordinary co-ax cable. You may also want an HDMI switch to select different sources (eg sky box, bt box, blue ray player, PC etc.). Very simple to operate as you just select channel 800 on the remote TVs (this may vary - my old Panasonic Freeview DVR gives it channel 95 by default). Only drawback was I couldn't get the remote IR function to work but there are other ways 'round that so I didn't try very hard.

The Modulation is pretty good, creates a nice picture on the other screens. However the IR function does not work with my Triax DDU set up. It appears to work local but will not go through the DDU, so have to maintain the old tri link just to operate the remote IR function

Fantastic piece of kit, excellent picture quality distributed via coaxial cables to various rooms in my house. I can now watch Football in the dining room and my wife (who doesn't 'do' football) can watch Freeview in the lounge. However I couldn't get the IR extender to work so I emailed Icecrypt for advice and they couldn't be bothered to reply. Instruction booklet poor.
