My stomach is happy!
I tried the regular ferrous sulfate 65 mg four years ago. It gave me severe nausea and abdominal pain. I switched to ferrous gluconate. I got better but still had mild stomach issues and constipation. After these negative experiences, I decided to quit iron supplements and live with iron deficiency anemia. Not until this year did my new doctor prescribe me this newer brand of iron - Slow Fe! I was not quite confident at first, but I gave it a try. It worked perfectly! I felt nothing - no GI issues except it made my stool blackened (which is totally expected). I hope to see my iron level up in one month!

Not hard on tummy
Works great, no gastrointestinal upset, no bad taste or side effects, definitely recommend.

No green stool
I use this medication religiously, very soft on the GI system. No green yucky tarry stools. Always a great value for the price. I haven't found anything comparable!

These were helpful in improving my iron but they made me constipated every time. Hard, dark stool every time.
