Well worth the money
Got the cl 110 and liked it that much I upgraded to the 800. Brilliant! The only niggke is it didn't come with the longer leads the cl 110 did but my long fluke leads fit in really well.

Good but corners have been cut...
When this first arrived I put the supplied batteries in and was met with a dead device & blank screen. After testing the batteries and reinserting them it came to life and has been fine since. Everything worked well but attention should be paid to the manual to fully understand all the settings options. Thereafter it's simple to operate, and comfortable to hold and use. The supplied thermocouple is only rated to180°C although the meter supports higher temperatures. I have a calibrated Testo class 1 thermometer & probes and found the Klein was consistently reading 1 to 1.5°C above that of my calibrated thermometer. This was the case using the same probes on both devices. I won't be using it to measure temperatures except when it's all I have to hand. The meter defaults to the farenheit scale but you can change that to default to celsius. The display backlight is bright and clear but the led work light is a bit dim. You might find yourself using the backlight often as some of the icons on it are tiny. It's a pity the leads are probes only as the inclusion of hooked and crocodile clip attachments would have been welcome additions, as would the magnetic hanger have been too.Where Klein additionally cut corners is with the case. It's a floppy'ish zipped case with no partitioning or mesh separators. It would have been nice to see separate compartments for the meter, leads, & thermocouples. It also needed some rigidity as it was flimsy and not well padded. I suppose most engineers will just wrap the leads around the meter and keep it in their work bag instead of the supplied case. The supplied user manual is quite small and could do with being better printed. Do yourself a favour and download the online PDF version instead. It's much easier to read.Despite the obvious corner cutting this is an excellent value Cat4 TRMS Clamp meter capable of both AC and DC ampere readings providing you focus on its core strengths and ignore the minor issues. As such I give it the thumbs up 👍.

Dropped just once from 20 cm and stopped working....
Dropped just once from 20 cm and it stopped working. Worked perfectly until it was dropped. I fixed it but taking it apart and tightening the screw holding the dial selector. Not sure how long the repair will last. Don't but this product.
